I hate to be the one to break it to you, but this is old on two separate levels. One, this style was done in Waking Life. Two, there was a thread about this trailer weeks ago.

Old or not, I will say again that I'm really looking forward to this movie. I love the visual style and the story seems pretty trippy as well; the two are a good fit together.

You have good taste when it comes to music. I suggest reading the book. Some of that stuff you listen to would make a spanking soundtrack to a reading of it.

Wow, it felt like i ran a movie through a photoshop filter.

Looks interesting definetly gonna keep my eye on this.

Sadly, this look has already been swiped for about a million commercials.

For the love of Substance D, if you have any interest at all in this movie, READ THE BOOK!
It will fuck with you.

I think you just convinced me. I'm going to go look for it on my lunch break.

Andy Warhol was doing that kind of art even earlier though.

EDIT: Oh, you mean the song reference in the trailer.

Anyhow, read this book a long time ago and remember it as a real mindfuck without much of a cohesive plot. And I'm usually a fan of PKD's work. Maybe I should revisit it...

Looks great. How long is the book by the way? I've always wanted to pick up a book to read.. but was too lazy. This looks like a nice candidate.

Typical PKD length--upwards of 200, nothing major. Maybe 239? Can't recall exact page number of the top...

The book is all about the dialogue. The interaction of the main characters and their circular go-nowhere conversations and observations. The juxtaposition of the straights and the users. So terribly, terribly melancholy. The plot is driven by this, although, in typical PKD fashion, the ending really isn't one.

Just remember:

"If I knew it was harmless, I would have killed it myself"

And always know your dealer--especially if you plan to off yourself.
