This is one of my favorite shows of all time! Grimm is a play on the Grimm fairy tales with the "monsters" being real and living among us. Like witches (there's even an episode referencing Hansel and Gretel) but here they're called HexenBiests. Werewolves are called Blutbaden. It's all so inventive and awesome!

But the Grimm of the show is a cop in Portland named Nick. And he solves crimes that were secretly committed by these "monsters". A Grimm has the ability to see these beings and have enhanced fighting capabilities similar to a Vampire Slayer.

One of the things I love so much about it is the monster lore taken from all over the world, though it's mainly German based.

If you've never seen it, I recommend you give it a go!

Really enjoyed that series. It was a new spin on Buffy and I think I mostly landed that feel.

It also didn't overstay its welcome…did what it sat out to do and then was done even with a truncated final season.

I love it. Was a bit weird with the whole adalind thing, but Clare coffee is super hot so I'll let it slide.

Also Team Bud all the way. The guy was terrified of everything but would always sack up and do what was needed.

Watched every season. Procedural plus overarching story? That's my poison. That and Juliette in leather.

Later seasons had some drag and it wasn't always consistent. But the ending landed ok and the humor had quality.

Could watch again.

Loved the show.

This guy's look was so great, makes me wish I lived someplace chilly and damp enough to need it

And goddamn Bree Turner is a smoke show!

My favorite character in the show was the make inappropriate jokes asian cop. I was happy when he finally joined the main cast

Also I found it hilarious how MC upgraded when it came to his romantic partner by the end of the show
