Absolum devs: "Xbox just wasn't a priority and it is not in our plans for this title."

Exclusives are what makes a console sell not third parties. And the 360 had way better Japanese support.

Also there are 35 million Game Pass subscribers, which is more than the number of Series consoles sold. So quite a big percentage of Xbox players won't buy the game if released.

I'm sure it sounds good in your brain and it rejects any other situation..... but sorry, in the reality, thinking something like that is a joke and an example of ignorance of reality, numbers, games catalog, etc (in your case, and seeing your argument I think it's something else entirely 😉)

I really set off your fuse.

UPDATE Oct 16, 2025: Developer Dotemu has clarified its viewpoint, explaining that "our community manager replied to community questions in good faith but with no context of our larger company strategy. Dotemu has always had a strong and positive relationship with Xbox and released multiple games on the platform, including this summer's NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound. While no plan can be shared as of today, Xbox fans should stay tuned for upcoming announcements." The original article continues unchanged below.

Oh snap. Someone got a phone call.

The game is really good. People calling it a no name game really have no idea. They wouldn't know a good game if it came up and slapped them in the face.

This turned out to be a pretty "big" little small game in this timeframe, I guess you never know which games will take off but I think this one did. It would have been one I suspect Xbox wishes it knew about and helped get on their console, since it is generating a fair little bit of buzz on Playstation anyway, judging by forums, user review score on psn, user review count, and place on most sold software and anecdotally it being owned by a few of my friends.
