My biggest concern with the game is that it won't be "fast" enough. But somehow I have a feeling I'll still end up really enjoying it, and probably develop a skill where I make the game fast (if that makes any sense at all...)

:lol Watched the video and saw no sign of that last card. Whether it's in the game or not, I am not sure. Nonetheless, the game looks great. The multiplayer looks interesting.
I like the BIG character faces that show up onscreen for dialog. that's a lot better than the little ugly faces that we get to see in codec conversations on PS2.
Speaking of that, the small faces worked on PSone since they were 2D and animated expressions in such wonderfully subtle detail, but the on PS2 it's meh...

AC!D is a slow slow game. Even if you kill all the enemies in the area, just walking to the exist a few steps at a time can take a few minutes.
The longest levels/maps in the game take a little under 2 hours and the boss fights can be about 20 mins the first time when you don't have a plan.
Also the enemies can take a while to move, especially if there are a few on-screen. In the later part of the game I'd find my PSP going into "power-saving mode" where it dims the screen while the enemies took their turn because so much time passed between me actually touching the controls.
That being said, once you get over the slowness of the game it's incredibly freaking awesome. Everyone must buy it.
