Hey, my friend just got AC5, and he's having trouble saving in arcade mode. Because you can't. It's like, you finish a level, and advance to the next stage, but you can't save your progress. You can't go back to the save/load/start screen. It's weird, is this what makes the game so hard? ;p. But I just saw what he's showed me, so if any Ace Combat junkies can help us out, it'd make him happy i'm sure ;P.

well, without having played the game I'll go out on a wild guess and say that you can't save in the arcade mode. Your progress in the story mode determines what you can access in the arcade mode.

I'm probably wrong tho :b

Hah, well you can definitely access all of the arcade levels if you beat them. So you can still advance through the arcade, but you just can't seem to save your progress. That seems like such a dick move by Namco ;p

IIRC, you can only save in arcade mode once you beat all of the arcade stages.

All it does is unlock the F-22A, which you get eventually in the story mode anyway.
