5,601 posts for me now.

Average 7.46 a day.

I don't think that's enough posts to NOT have a life, yet just enough posts for NeoGAF to become a serious distraction.
 
My average has been going down through the years. It was, at one point, around 26-27 posts per day. Now it's under 20 and still declining. I post about half as much as I used to, which is still a lot, but still much less. This is the only forum I go to, also (despite dopplegangers elsewhere).

Thing is, I could only be on for 2 hours or something a day, and rack up around 20 posts easily, because usually I post just a sentence or something. I usually try to avoid getting into long big arguments that eat up time and drive me crazy.
 
When I hit 50,000, whoosh, evaporate into thin air and queue up the haunting music of everlasting mystery

My post count got so high during the period of time when I was out of a job, my post count number is slowly declining now as well. It's almost under 30 now.

It's laugh-out-loud sure, but remember this thing averages post counts from when I started and was posting like 46 posts per day or something. It's really easy to post a lot when you have no job and type at 110wpm.
 
I'm inching up on 10,000 posts. When I saw how high my total was a while back I was like "omfg jesus" but then I realized it's only an average of ~5.5 posts a day. That's not so bad.

Well, the days of FF12 coming out in Japan but not yet in the states were filled with about at least 20 posts a day back and forth between the both of us arguing.

Ha! I lost my thread posting privilages for almost 12 months. I got them back 3 months ago and have only created 1 new thread. lol
 
As of right now, I rank #658 on the forum with 4,712 posts (5.35 posts per day). I joined in October 2006, so it's been 2 and a half years now.\

In that time, I've:

- Posted 46 threads, none of which have cracked 250 replies or 10,000 views
- Had five (5) custom tags, though one of them only lasted a few minutes
- Been banned once, but only because I requested it
- And I've found my first post!
 
Man, I remember hazing people back on old, old GAF who were at/approaching 10,000 like it was some huge deal. Now people are at 30-50k? Crazy. Stuff adds up over time, though!

I've been a member since August 5, 2006, and I'm ranked #733, with 4012 posts. That's 4.54 posts per day, depressed hugely by my 56k connection during each summer.

I also wonder if I'm unique enough to be memorable.

EDIT: Holy shit, I almost have as many posts as MarkMan and CharlieDigital. That actually scares me.

OK I've been here since the EZBoard days, and I probably have less than 10,000 posts with everything combined. I need to post more.

6647 posts in just under 5 years...
 
Heh I consider myself a pretty light poster. I think my average is around 4 posts per day. It went to 0 when I got addicted to WoW again for 2 months, but now that I got it out of my system my average has been coming up again.
 
Man, when I saw my post count:

Total Posts: 15,271 (10.96 posts per day)

It's depressing to look at in hindsight, but seeing that I didn't even crack the top 50(!!), made me feel a bit better.

ugh, I hate to look at mine (I'm going to just stop posting) I've been since I was still in high school, this will probably be my last year coming here anyway.

But I have a very low post-per-day ratio (much lower than those with a lower overall post count)

Does anyone think my post count is acceptable for someone who's been here for (almost) 5 years?
