These pictures look really bad, a shadow of the preview pics. I think that is partially the photography though. HLJ has asked for payment for mine. I was hesitant after seeing these pics but I think I'll just do it.
Well I'm hoping I like my Lucina, too late to cancel now. But if I get burned, I'll be thinking twice on any future figma. They seem to be losing their luster these days.
I've already decided not to buy any of their western figures after how their Avengers and Spidey turned out. Figuarts destroys them.

The SH figuarts Luke was good imo. The face is much different than the promo pics.

Look who came in yesterday! This figure is awesome. So much little detail, it's amazing. He's easily one of my favorite figures in my collection now. He is a little delicate though. There are lots of small and/or thin parts that feel like they could easily break if not careful, such as his hair and swords. The HF Muramasa it comes with can go into its sheath, but it doesn't quite fit properly so you have to really force it in. It's so thin though that I'm afraid to do that for fear of breaking it, so it'll have to just stay in his hand or something. Great figure.

Wow, looks great. All the fragile aspects scare me a bit, with my luck it would get busted up in shipping, but I'm certainly tempted...

While it's certainly possible for parts to be damaged during shipping, given the way that Hot Toys packs their figures, I wouldn't really worry about it. Plus, Hot Toys, Sideshow, and many other retailers have pretty good customer service, so even if you do find that it was damaged during shipping, they'll send you a replacement.
For example I noticed a paint defect on my Bones figure's hand and notified them about it even though it had been a month since I received it and they're sending me a replacement hand at no charge.
Damn...maybe I'll order him. AmiAmi has him in stock for $242.

Looks like Hasbro will be releasing the second wave of Force Awakens Black Series figures at the end of September/early October.

one of the biggest import shops in Japan. very well known. the only issue is they have most prices at MSRP. I recommend AmiAmi or HobbySearch for discounts instead.
That's one reason I'm leasing towards HLJ. Not only is the price slightly lower, but AmiAmi is so rigid once you place an order.

AmiAmi cancellations ain't too much of an issue. they'll cancel if you email them. I think their policy was put there just to discourage people from doing so. but plenty of people in the defunct Figures thread had success canceling multiple times.

I'm really conflicted about that Hulk. Avengers version looks way better, but I need it for my AOU display. Ugh.
Got the die cast Mark III in. It's great, but also has some baffling engineering choices such as the torso and the knee articulation. Landing pose is easily achievable though once you know the knee has an extra click after the smooth motion ends.

Thanks. You are right I should have said mecha, but since Gundam is in the super robot wars games I go in between saying mech or super robot.
Gundams are classified as real robots in the Super Root Wars games, though!

There was a kickstarter that later got scrapped (I think. Was controversial, maybe). Another company, who I can't even remember now, have previewed sample moulds. One with greater articulation, but not as clean, and another with less articulation but clean.
Said it before, SHF need to get the license so badly! Ryu vs Goku vs Captain America vs White Ranger? I need that. Too many ugly Ryu figs about, though Previews had a decent Ryu head sculpt, finally.
