After a release date of this fall when the game was first announced and then a delay to January 2005 at E3, Xbox.IGN is now reporting that MechAssault 2, the upcoming Day 1 Studios developed Xbox mech action game sequel has now had its released dated moved up a few weeks. The game is now scheduled to ship to stores in late December 2004.
