Where are you getting that $47,000 figure from?So let me get this straight.
I can pay $47,000 once off for the software, or just pay $49/month for a year?

2,500 x n = 47,000Where are you getting that $47,000 figure from?
2,500 x n = 47,000
Where n is the number of computers at his/her office? Or where n is an F in math.
what i like about the cloud deal is cross platform stuff
i plan to get a mac laptop later this year, but I'm thinking my main machine will still be windows for a while.
now i dont have to worry about not having adobe on one machine.
Hoooly crap. I just downloaded the Photoshop trial on a whim and the performance boost is incredible. The program boots in like three seconds.
Design Standard is like $350 with my student discount, I think I'm going to bite later this summer.

Hm, how many activations do the non-subscription suites come with? Anyone know?
You can have it activated on 2 computers at a time.
I just purchased the Adobe Photoshop CS6 1-year Subscription ($20/mo). If I like it, I'll upgrade to the full suite. Although Photoshop is really the only program I need/use anymore since I don't do AS3 stuff anymore.
I wish there was like a $5/mo Lightroom subscription. Oh well.
Do you only get the Creative Cloud stuff with the subscription, or is it part of the regular upgrade as well? Still debating if I want to just pay the upgrade, or do the subscription.
How did you subscribe for just Photoshop?
That's reasonable. It's been a really long time since nearly every new Mac (and I presume most Win boxes) have been x64.Can't even test CS6 cause you NEED 64-bit. :/
