I refuse to watch a 2-hour presentation on a console I most likely will not buy any time soon (despite supporting Sony 3x at launch in the past). There is only one thing that would convince me to buy PS5 soon and if it's not in the headlines today I simply won't be interested any time soon.

You won't get 2x better looking game than consoles. What you'll surely get is 2x higher frame-rate than consoles AFTER the consoles launch.

2x the framerate, does make the game look and feel better though. Especially with higher quality textures and higher bandwidth for more effects present. YMMV

PC GPUs will be 2x beyond PS5 before it even launches. This is one of the reasons I want all PS5 exclusives to come to PC, so that they are not held back by weak console hardware.
PC always gives you the choice between higher FPS, higher resolution, higher settings, or all of the above if your hardware is capable enough.

I doubt PC GPUs will be 2x faster than PS5 before they launch. But we'll see. I too would like to enjoy PS5 games on PC, especially at higher frame-rates, but it would make their console irrelevant like Xbox consoles are irrelevant to me, as a PC gamer.

With "big" Navi having over 2x the CUs and PCs clocking higher than consoles, I'd be shocked if we weren't looking at at least "23" vs. "10" Tflops RDNA2 comparing "big" Navi to the mid-range GPU they put in PS5.
And RTX 3000 will most likely be even faster than "big" Navi. A PC GPU being 2x faster than PS5, by PS5 launch is a safe bet.
