Honestly, I don't know a lot about this game... Sci-Fi setting, Orson Scott Card heavily involved, Majesco publishing. That's the extent of my knowledge.
But just knowing that has made me "want to believe". Majesco certainly delivered with Phantom Dust and Psychonauts... but they were merely picking up MS's table scraps. Orson Scott Card can certainly write a good book... but will it translate well in a video game.
Then, I see this huge marketing campaign. They are going to show the trailer before every Episode III movie. Wow! That must have cost them some bucks. Then, they are going to give away a million bucks (and other prizes) to Xbox Live subscribers who find hidden objects in the weekly downloadable content (over six weeks).
I'm not a bookie, but I figure the odds are pretty good that the number of XBL subscribers divided by the number of AR owners = a better than average chance at scoring something good.
Needless to say... I'm leaning towards the "buy-it" category. Anyone else buying this game?
Here's the official site if anyone wants to view any of the details above... plus they have the E32005 trailer on the site.
