Age-Age: What is your age?

30 and time has suddenly slowed down. I suppose it is because the next "big thing" is getting to be a cranky old man with a cain and that soooo far away. My eye sight is excellent as is my hearing, I have no joint problems, my hair still has its death grip on my head, and my memory is as crappy as it was when I was a teen so the whole aging thing is something of a letdown.

About 22 years old.

I took a real-age test about 6 months ago, and my real age is 14.5. I doubt that, because I'm already looking up ways to prevent forehead wrinkles (they're forming...). I've tried many things, such as olive oil, which caused some minor acne. Only I could have acne, forehead wrinkles, and grey hair at my age.

I'm 26.

I look like im 18,act like I'm 10 and feel like a 80 year old.

Your mental age, basically.

How mature or immature you are.

News to me, most real age tests are actually tests that talk about the physical age of your body... calorie counts, blood pressure, etc... those and other health and daily activity related questions are use to form a numerical "real" age.

Really? Older? or younger? You're gonna say older aren't you... AREN'T YOU?!?!?!?!?

I thought you were 19 tops.

edit: oh wait, :lol I always confuse you and alpha cause of your damn avatars.

-_- Now I don't know.

edit #2 : I just realized the avatars aren't even remotely similar. I'm nuts.

http://www.realage.com/

It's a test that considers many factors about what you eat, how much you exercise, your body weight, environment, family history, prescription drug usage, etc to determine your real age.

Time is one factor into aging. From what I understand, aging is just the gradual oxidation of your DNA. Your very definition withers away.

Exercise, food, drug usage will change how well your body can limit oxidation. You can't stop it entirely or get really close, but you can slow it down considerably. If you do everything right, at 90 years old, your "real age" would be about 60 of the average adult today.

The test is kind of basic. They don't really go into enough detial about your diet. They only ask about vitamin C and Folic acid supplements. Folic acid and vitamin C is in everything...so you really shouldn't supplement. You should be more concerned about much more powerful antioxidants, which aren't found in many foods, like ECGC in green tea, and reveratrol in red grapes/peanuts.

Edit: If anyone takes their test, do not give them your main email address. When I did, I started getting these emails regarding health, from crap like "Ultimate Online Pharmeceutical" and other junk.

You'll never get it out of me. Only, like, three people on GAF know and that's only because we're friends outside of this place.

Besides, clean-shaven I don't look my age.

At all.

He's 44, everybody.

30 in almost exactly six months from now, which I'm not dealing with very well.

I was mistaken for a 25 year old yesterday, though, and I was asked for ID a few weeks ago...
