Finally. How'd you guys spend your 21st birthday? Let us share stories with one another and cement our bonds.

I turned twenty one back in good ol' 2002. Started out by going to Ohana, a Hawaii/Japan bar in downtown Seattle where his step-brother is the bartender, so we had free sushi, beer and Jager shots. After that, we met up with some of his friends who took us to this Vietnamese club where we were the only two white people in attendance. I later found out we probably would’ve been shot if we didn’t happen to be with my cousin’s friends (ties to the mafia or something, I’d rather not know). We stayed there until 2am and then headed to Neighbors, a gay dance club up on Broadway that stays open until 4am. Upon entering, I got free cover and twenty one birthday spankings by the incredibly manly lesbian bouncer. We now go to Neighbors on my birthday every year now, even if my friends and I are all straight.

edit: Oh, most bars will not let you in at midnight tonight, you'll have to go back tomorrow.

I was in Helsinki... trust me, there's not many worse ways to spend a Bday than truly UNDERSTANDING how lonely Bill Murray was in Lost in Translation, haha.

It's even more uneventful when nobody cares if you drink before you're 21 anyways.

You sure? Cause none of my older friends said that there'd be a problem!?

My friend and his wife took me to a Japanese restaurant. We sat around the table with a bunch of other people and watched the chef toss food into people's mouths and fling his cooking utensils around like nun-chucks. I had something alcoholic that was inside a giant Buddha. They brought me out a birthday card written in really nice japanese lettering and sang me happy birthday in japanese. It was a pretty good time. He was really the only guy I knew. I was in the Air Force at the time.
