I think it's a good tool to have in an artist's toolbox and could save a lot of time. Get's you 90% of the way there and just needs some manual tweaking at the end. There is something noble about wanting everything to be hand done, but this isn't a Ghibli animated masterpiece. It's for games which are already being computer generated to begin with using all sorts of digital art tools. Given how long and expensive game development is becoming, anything that can speed up / cheapen the process is very welcome.
