Have there been any news regarding next-gen games from the AKI camp? Hopefully, when the new consoles come out, they'll finally come to the realization that they can't make interesting and fun games outside of the wrestling genre.

Not 100% sure, but on the other hand I did hear Yukes! goal for next-gen was to try and make a game as good as No Mercy on the N64.

That's been their goal for over 5 fucking years now. I'm sick of their shit and their games. All they have to do is use the engine from the AKI games -- the SAME engine -- and just apply the next-gen consmetics, along with the roster update and a killer CAW. Half the work is already done for them.

Not Aki. Yukes and Spike are both doing DS wrestling games though.

Some publisher should contract them to make a UFC game to take advantage of their recent success. Or, better yet, they could make a Pride game in their native country for me to import. I've always dug their wrestling games but the beginnings of the shootfighting engine they had in VPW2 make me think they'd do a hell of a job with a full blown MMA game.
