Aksys is teasing something

I'd like to believe that it's Zero Escape 3, but I still find it hard to believe that Aksys would be the ones teasing it, and I don't think the evidence for it is that strong at the moment.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before (did a couple of searches and nothing came up), but here's a briefcase from the beginning of 999

Okay, I wanted to believe before I saw this image. Now I have to believe.

Gonna be hell to pay if this is an Aksys troll.

Do we know that there won't be a Japanese announcement accompanying it? Promoting the game with a simultaneous announcement isn't that hard to imagine.

I'm still skeptical, but this is what I said earlier. Japan doesn't care for ZE, so teasing it more so in NA/EU would make sense for a simultaneous announcement.

super hyped for fate/extra ccc, it's been a long road but it's finally over

I wish. Especially since the fan translation was abandoned.

Maybe the first 03 means the 3rd letter of the alphabhet, c and the second 03 means 3 cs.

Want this to be true. But I doubt it since Spike would probably announce it first.

I want to believe.

But does Aksys have the resources for something like that, and would it even be worth it accounting for western sales? If there were that many fans here, to the point a profit could be made, you'd think Spike themselves would want to do it? Seems like a huge risk for Aksys.

Considering they've already co-funded something (Magus. It was a turd), and considering that Zero Escape has always been far more popular in the West than in Japan, I definitely wouldn't rule out a funding deal.

Anyone here working on that second anagram?

Tried many different combinations, but you're always left over with a few letters or an incomplete sentence.

I even tried ignoring the "no escape" part in the second image, the best ones I got were.:

taken back vessel loop plan [no letters left over, but incomplete]

all people taken back on ss v [ss could stand for the ship, but v doesn't fit]

Other words that would fit are: cloak, envelope, slave, enslave, kept, love, bleak, solve, unsolvable, etc.

Image B might not be an anagram at all, there are slight variations that don't show up in image A (upper case N in Novel, maybe the l in salt that kinda looks like a 1). What other kinds of word puzzles would make sense?

Interesting combination of words. Maybe the upper case N means something or is a clue?

What if both image A and B are both part of the same anagram? Instead of two it's one giant one.

No problem in that honestly. One of the few games that do not actually need physical buttons.

Agreed actually. Only problem is that for some weird reason they decided to take the puzzles out of 999 when they ported it to phones. Makes no damn sense.

I'm going to guess there was control issues. Like people couldn't hit pixels with their big fingers.

The difference in programming effort between pure visual novel on a simple engine and a "game" with a bunch of separate puzzles has to be huge, and on a in terms of cost vs benefit on a budget over a super niche title, I can completely understand why they did it.

Just wish they would do the same for VLR, as well.

Programming resources, methinks.

Nothing here. They're only allowing us to navigate a small portion of their wordpress folders.

Thanks, I have no idea how to do that(navigating through those folders) and since the two images were discovered I though that may be there was a chance for something more.

PD: I hate "these" ways of announcing something, If I recall well vlr was announced in a famitsu right?

Well usually you try to see if you're allowed access to earlier folders. That's easier to check on wordpress.

So here's the URL for one image: http://aksysgames.com/4infinityco/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/A.jpg-

Then try to see if you can navigate something earlier, such as:

http://aksysgames.com/4infinityco/wp-content/uploads/

And then some directories are visible to you, though you can lock people out of such things, Aksys allowed it.
