I'm probably heavily paraphrasing but Uchikoshi specifically mentioned to people suggesting it that it wasn't an option due to the publisher not being on board with the idea.

Throwing in Never7 and Remember11 for people willing to get the fan translation patches. Standalone games in the same series as Ever17, with similar concept driving all of them.

To note, they aren't available for purchase in the west (or import even really, I tried), so I'm not going to comment on how someone can get their hands on them.

A couple things I just realized.

• Hope was one of the four Clover words that Snake talked about.
• Right next to "Hope" is"Eyes", obviously relevant to Snake.
• Salt was one of the parts of a puzzle in 999, as well

Don't know if any of this is important. Just little things I noticed.
