I was watching a quick biography of his, pretty sure it was VH1 and it was mentioned that his test scores were remarkably high -- near genius levels. I'm looking on google right now to see if I could find anything to shut you up.

I don't think that any of the jokes he makes are particularly funny. I do think the reactions that he gets from a lot of the people are fucking hilarious. The premise of the show would produce something funny (to me) with any comedian that was moderately funny.

Just to back alpha up on this, he did graduate cambridge near the top of his year. I see him driving round here in his ferrari all the time cause he lives in the village next to me.

Intelligence has absolutely nothing to do with someones sense of humour.

Did he achieve First Class Honours in History? Hundreds of Oxbridge undergraduates achieve First Class degrees in their chosen subjects every year. Did he get a starred First?

Follow the logic.


1. Cambridge is a science-heavy university.

2. Undergraduate science degrees are substantially easier than undergraduate arts degrees; far more Firsts are awarded in science degrees.

3. Degree classification is one of the most important aspects of any ranking system.

4. Consequently, Cambridge tends to do better in the rankings - because far more Cambridge undergraduates achieve First Class degrees.


Of course, I could attack the very efficacy of 'academic ranking' ... but I can't be arsed. Why are you getting into an Oxbridge penis-waving contest, anyway? It's not like you have a vested interest. Have you attended either institution?

That's why I love comedy in the vein of Ali G. It exposes people trying to be repectful, proper, or politically correct, as juvenile, and irrational. He has the ideal way of getting back at bigots.
