Rather than derail the trailer thread, I thought it best to move spoiler-y conversation & theories to somewhere else
So from this post onwards, there are going to be open spoilers & conversation about the show, you've been warned
Xenomorph Drone/Facehugger/Eggs
Dumbed down xenomorph drone. Seems to be only 1 on board the Maginot. Likes to moonwalk. Is killed easily by Wendy. Not a major threat. Eggs seem to open and close for stupid reasons. Facehuggers are acting normal
Blood Ticks
Known as Species 19 or Ticks
Eye Octopus
Trypanohyncha Ocellus or T. Ocellus or Species 64
Hanging Plant Species
Drosera Plumbicare or D. Plumbicare

Blood Ticks

Known as Species 19 or Ticks
- Feeds on live hosts by sucking out all, or most of the blood from the body
- This process causes the tick to swell, having a large blood sack at the rear of its body. Is still strong enough to move at normal speeds when "full"
- Can survive at least 2 weeks without feeding on live subjects
- Will feed on dead tissue eventually if they can't get ahold of live prey
- Has human like intelligence, watching the scientist eating/drinking and figuring out that's the best way to infect them, and problem solving the containers using specific mechanisms to open them and escape
- Infects hosts by releasing tadpole like creatures into possible food items
- Once infected, the tadpoles attach themselves to the digestive tract, sucking blood from the inside of the host body and quickly growing into full size ticks. This process eventually causes human victims to vomit blood, before collapsing and going into a coma-like state
- If disturbed whilst feeding, ticks release a green gas of some sort that is deadly to human life, causing bleeding to the eyes & breathing problems. Kills human within 30 seconds
Eye Octopus

Trypanohyncha Ocellus or T. Ocellus or Species 64
- Features several ocular irises
- Tentacle system that can grow or restrict at will
- Tentacles carry extraordinary strength and are built to climb into and dislodge the eyes of other organisms
- Once replaced in eye socket ... takes over the ocular pathways to the brain, overriding neurotransmissions throughout the body
- More study needed to gauge intelligence, has reasonable problem solving skills at a near human measure
- Uses distraction tactics
- Threat recognition, understood what a gun is, or what it potentially could do to the host body
- Gives host bodies added strength, faster movement, pain tolerance, beyond normal levels from the host
- Chose to attack a Xenomorph rather than attack a human with a gun, can determine the most dangerous target to itself in the room
- Is described as female
Hanging Plant Species

Drosera Plumbicare or D. Plumbicare
- Uses plumage to lure unsuspecting prey, a stamen to sense prey, pattern of leaves which forms a mouth
- Carnivorous plant not dissimilar to the Terran genus Drosera
- Has been seen eating flora in dire situations
- Animals given to Plumbicare have expired in three ways - Asphyxiation, dissolve, exhaustion
- Enzymatic breakdown begins upon decease
- Stamen also acts as gauge of atmospheric pressure and temperature
- When conditions become inhospitable or threat to survival ... closes completely
- When attempting to open a ... many kilograms of pressure were applied to no avail
