SOOOOO on the subject of Oculus Rift support, modders are already diving into the game and finding bits and pieces of the original Oculus Rift support still in there.
If an official patch doesn't come, perhaps a mod will soon enough.
Off topic but I have an i7 and 780 and I played all the way through. Mordor last week with settings maxed except the texture pack. I never had any crashes or frame drops in 30+ hours start to finish.i7 and a 780, looks like 4k at 60fps could be doable with a little tinkering. Not bad at all, after how badly Shadow of Mordor ran (crash to desktop all the time) it'll be nice to play something a little more stable.

Runs at steady 60 with everything at max. Like I said earlier the game has absolute shit AA and most lighting is baked so I can't say I'm surprised this game runs so well.
I haven't tried this, but using nvidia inspector, I wonder if you could force some of the
aa settings on, or maybe edit some of the configuration files?
SMAA T2X only works with single GPU for me. Assuming it is not SLI compatible option. Suck as it cleans up the jaggies better than T1X...
Not played much just a bit of the Crew Expendable DLC (to test out settings etc) and I'm getting 120fps with everything on Ultra, 75 FoV, no film grain.
GTX 780 3GB

playing at 1680x1050
Anyone playing on a 6870?? If so, how goes it?
To remove intro movies (20th century fox, Creative Assembly, AMD):
Go to \DATA\UI\MOVIES in the installation folder.
2. Delete or rename AMD_IDENT.USM, FOX_IDENT.USM, and CA_IDENT.USM.
per http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Alien:_Isolation
Thanks, you should put all the useful stuff in the OP.
Has anyone tried 3dvision? How is it?
60fps downsampled from 4k with my 970, everything on max.
You can use -benchmark as a start parameter to launch a performance test.
Also when tweaking FOV it seems to be vertical instead of horizontal and the first-person body model disappears if you go higher than 55.
EDIT: Other commands.
-benchmark
-skip_frontend
-vsync_at_30
-debug_text_enabled
-debug_text_disabled
-no_ui
-makemovie
-realtime
-stats
-disable_hdr_scale
-about
-paused
-extra_shadow_lights
-disable_exit_debug_entity
-capture_cutscene
-fixed_time_step
-noperf
-perf
-fps
-level
I'm missing TX2 in my AA settings. I get FXAA and TX1 but not 2? Running on SLI 760s. Anybody know why?
SLI disables TX2.
Huh, any reason why? I've got the room to run it at 60-fps on just one card, but is it worth it? What's worse the ghosting from TX2 or the shimmering from TX1?
SMAA T2x uses previous frame data and current frame data for AA. If you are doing AFR (that is, rendering 2 frames in parallel on 2 cards) you can imagine that this doesn't work wellHuh, any reason why?
Anyone on AMD know how to achieve downsampling resolutions?
Same with me except it hovers between 50-60 fps. Do you get drops or is it a solid 60fps?
Got this from Guru3D. I think it should be in the OP:
SLI disables TX2.
Where do you input those commands?
Start parameters, I presume.
Don't have the game but try looking through this thread:Anyone?

Basically have to uninstall the latest driver and go back to around 12.11
*sigh* so it's the same bullshit as always. I'd have switched to Nvidia if I hadn't gotten this 290 for so cheap.
Specs:
i7 4770k OC'd to 4.6
Sapphire 7970 3GB
8GB Memory
Here's what I got:

Once it got going I didn't have a single framerate drop. Good stuff.
Is the input lag normal? Vsync makes the camera a bit sluggish.
It doesn't seem too bad but it's definitely there.
I was going to point you to the AMD downsampling neogaf thread but I see you are already active there in the most recent posts. I've been relatively happy with AMD in the past but the lack of tweaking options is what ultimately made me jump ship.
Those are some consistent frame times. Looks great.
Has anybody done a comparison with this on and off?-extra_shadow_lights
Just started playing but the graphics look off to me. I'm playing at 1920x1080 but it gives me the feel of lower resolution where things are bigger. Also I'm not sure AA is even working.
