Ah. I have the same CPU but it's clocked to 4.3Ghz.

Downsample. There must be a way to enable better antialiasing.
I had to stop playing, i need to get rid of the jaggies >.<
Any way to downsample this on AMD card?
Asus G74 here, cheapest Best Buy model from 2011 with i7 3630Q, GTX 560M and it runs great at the default settings (mostly cranked with a few options at medium). I only played the Last Survivor DLC as a quick test but it felt smooth to me (didn't have a frame rate monitor up).

What? I've seen tons of examples in game where there is absolutely no GI. I'm pretty sure this game doesn't have GI.

What res are you running at?
This is from my Rig Ultra @ 1440p AMD R9 290
I don't see any jaggies at all and I'm not downsampling.
That is a really low quality jpeg. Hard to say!
They are steam screenshots.
These are from Fraps.
I think people are to picky to be honest, this game looks fantastic and runs really well.
Guys, is Deep Color HDMI black levels?
What setting should we use on PC?
Those are still super compressed images (they are less than 200kB!). Are you uploading them to imigur or something?
Cannot judge still!

This image has a lot of grates.
I get the feeling from you, that you could go out and buy a $12,00 computer, downsample the downsamples and you would still piss and moan about something.
Imgur is about as much effort as I can put in for you.
Good day sir!

And I'd have to agree with those that are a little disappointed that they cant get rid of the aliasing issues. Its a bit bothersome for me, as well. Not that I cant live with it, but just the fact that there's pretty much nothing anybody can do to alleviate the problems is kinda annoying. We can run the game at really high resolutions but its kind of tempered with the fact that it doesn't really do all that much(but is still better than nothing, of course).
I don't have a *problem* with it, necessarily, like I don't 'take issue' with it or anything. The aliasing is specular, and is not done away with unless you super super super super sample, or they change the way their lighting model works (clamp the specular!). IMO, I don't have a big problem with that...
SLI scaling seems to be seriously bugged in parts. In most places including menus it's scaling almost perfectly, and then other areas with certain light sources it drops down to almost match single gpu fps. Annoying as hell. Utilization is down around 50% point per gpu when it happens and not cpu limited or anything else...

Heya all,
I threw my dx11 efx 1.9.30 sweetfx bundle onto this game and it works hassle-free.
The problem is the jaggies. I can't stand them.. especially considering this game is very friendly performance-wise . How could they release it like that?
Anyhow, looks like Inspector tweaking doesn't work unless we find the correct AA compatibility flag. I'm trying to research bits from games using a similar engine.
Submitting posts in this forum seems buggy. :\
I have an original i7 920, 9gb ram and a gtx 660sc. How will I fair?
How? My custom resolutions don't even show up in game :/

Strange, I was getting some dips below 60 in the first room where you have control of Amanda. 3xGTX680 SLI setup, cards working at ~25% usage. Didn't have any dips walking around the ship though. Weird. Playing at 1620p.
EDIT: Disabled vsync to see I'm getting 200 FPS, but if I look in certain directions it dips to ~80. If I move forward a few feet without moving the camera it jumps back up to 200. Seems weird. Maybe an unstable SLI profile.

It doesn't in a lot of games. I was running the game at 5120x2880 which does a good enough job in motion. It seemed to run ok but I didn't play for very long.Downsampling from 4k to 1080p doesn't even get rid of them.

Pre-rendered cutscene for the first and I see a bunch of jaggies in the second. What res are you running at?

Anyone getting really poor desktop performance when you've alt-tabbed out of the game to do something else. It's like I'm back in the old days with a tiny amount of ram struggling to keep multiple windows open. Could just be my system, it is getting a bit long in the tooth.
Alt-tabbing to desktop throttles my video card to 100 % usage.
Try with 0x080912F5 bits. I find overall perfect scaling with those bits but I don't know if can be glitches after that scene.
Works with full GPU utilization; haven't noticed any visual glitches yet either!!
Thanks!!

Eh, aliasing is still noticeable to me. Better, but still not ideal. It doesn't in a lot of games. I was running the game at 5120x2880 which does a good enough job in motion. It seemed to run ok but I didn't play for very long.

Still a few aliased edges. Mostly gone, but 8K is... kinda overkill and not really possible to play at.

Anyways, how'd you get rid of the little health bar? Shit is driving me nuts.
