That Demo would have convinced people to put down money for a pre-order only to not get what was shown/advertised. It's so...tasteless.

This new Aliens game has us doing something I never thought I would see, though: Discussing AvP 2010 in a positive light.

It seems they scrapped their "Red Ring" deferred, fully dynamic, renderer they were talking about, for UE3's standard renderer. I wouldn't be surprised if it was because they couldn't get it to work on consoles (partly due to how weak they are, but also due to how lazy they were).

I have said it a million times I am a huuuuuuge Aliens fan, and I did not go pick this game up yet because of this mess. I'll trade in a few games to Gamestop in a few months when I can get this for less than 20 bucks new and see if I can force myself through it.
