I have been contemplating picking this up at launch as like many people I have been waiting for this game for YEARS!!!

But with the reported buggyness of the game (I'm skeptical the day 1 patch will fix everything) and just the general history with games at launch these days I'll probably wait. Plus I'd be playing it on a base Xbone. I'll wait until I pick up a Series X next year.

I'm not super excited about all the icons on the map, but I do like that there is presumably a lot to do in the game world. That helps me feel more immersed in it.
 
So I'm assuming the review embargo will be the 7th as the random twitter account said it would be. I don't think we've heard of people with review copies saying when the embargo is

I don't think there will be anything left to review at this rate. People are already done with half the game, spoilers about story and gameplay will be all over the Internet come the weekend.

CDPR didn't fuck up at all. blame the stupid fucks at best buy for delivering the game A FUCKING WEEK early. if i was management at CDPR i would be at the phone now ripping them appart for destroying one of the most anticipated launches in gaming history

Yeah, but street dates have been broken since street dates began with games. But yes, obviously Best Buy is the ones at fault here.

I mean without th patches the impressions of the game can differ big time. And these spoilers are stuff are unofficial. And I thought this game had multiple pathways? Not sure how it can't be spoiled so easily unlike tlou2

yes but usually street date is broken by small stores or countries with a really small market. not by one of the biggest fucking retaliers in the USA

Anyone offended by "open customization" should simply not put a dick on their chick. Pretty simple. I hate SJW crap myself. But this ain't that battle. This ain't it.

Simply don't mix genitals folks. For those that want to, it's fine, not like you have to watch them play their game.

Even the traits match. Start out as a jobless loser smashing windows and shooting people trying to get your way.

On paper, this should be top selling game for them.

There's around 20 variations of shaved heads, yet not even a basic Lara Croft pony tail?

#37 and 38 look like sumo wrestlers.

On the plus side at least they have #11, 31 and 32.

Hmm. Didn't notice that until ya posted this. What's up with the shaved head on every one? That a "cyberpunk" type deal perhaps? Not up on the lore or anything myself. I'm aware that's a style for sure and am fine by it. But yeah, like every one has it shaved. Blah. Whatever lol
 
Face customization is more limited than I expected. Like no tweaking of nose height or jaw width, etc. All just picking presets.

Who knows which writer did the first dystopian steam punk story, so maybe he started it off. But some reason every Blade Runner kind of setting has everyone with shaved heads and punker hair.

Honestly, the Skyrim and stuff of the world that allow the width etc type customization is kinda trash and ends up looks goofy. Just my opinion
