I have somewhere an old issue of EGM's yearly Buyer Guide, I think they did like 3 of those back then, mine is 1994 I believe, and the section with ratings for each consoles is most entertaining

Ah, good old Trip. I have every issue of Next Generation magazine, and in his 3 or 4 interviews during its run, the poor guy goes from happy-looking middle age executive to beat-up looking grandpa in just a few years.
And he never got a single prediction right in any of those interviews. My favorite is when he claimed (after a year or so) that the 32-bit machines would die young, and specifically that the Playstation would never make Sony any money and would get its ass kicked by the N64 and especially the M2.
