Almost 50% of Americans are ready to elect Dwayne Johnson president

You guys elected Reagan decades ago, so why the fuck not?

Forgot that he was also an actor before becoming president?

You guys started this precedent waaaaay before Trump
As others had pointed out he had loads of political experience before becoming president.

If we are going to vote actors in it should be Arnold but we have that stupid archaic law on the books that says you have to be a natural-born citizen to run.

Can you type using the English language for once. I have never read anything you have posted make sense.
Chill, there are a lot of people here (including me) that arent natives in English but still try to interact

You can still understand what he is trying to say

Yeah me too English is not my native language either, this dude is American and I make more sense when I type.
Sure we all make mistakes but this person posts In riddles.
How does what he posted make sense ”Arnold” could never be president because he’s not a natural born citizen.
What are you his mom? Get out of here with that.

I havr a feeling it will come down to Biden and Kamala vs DeSantis and Noem.

Joe Rogan already gave a semi shout out to DeSantis 2024 when Eric Weinstein asked about any potential young candidate

Lol at throwing in the 6’4” reference.

Rock with just under 6’5” Charles Barkley
Wrestler's heights have always been exaggerated. Rock is probably 6ft 2-3 but he was billed at 6ft 5.

Why not have Paris Hilton be president?
Lol get real. Dwayne actually worked his way up to where he is today. He is successful because he works hard at it. He wasn't handed fame and fortune or inherited some trust fund like Paris.

I'm not advocating for Dwayne Johnson as president but he'd certainly be more competent in the job than Paris fucking Hilton.

Then I distrust you as well... Politicians and lawyers are not respectable people.

Maybe it's different in the US, but I personally would expect a potential POTUS, which is the highest job in politics, to have some degree of political experience. They would need to know the workings of the US political system, have crisis management skills, foreign affairs knowledge, orator skills, be brave to make very difficult and unpopular decisions, great orator skills etc. This is just common sense no? Surly not every Tom, Dick and Harry can become US President?

What skills does Dwayne Johnson have to be able to have the biggest role in politics?

Strong man good!
Strong man smart!
Strong man President!

I hope he goes for it and wins. I think the general public realizes that this past election had two shit candidates and is ready for someone legit to do the job. Someone who isn’t pointing fingers and polarizing people even more like Biden and Trump.

Never once did I endorse the rock... And hes far from just an average citizen. . I'm sure he has a diverse cast of characters constantly in his ear about many issues.

My point is being a aspiring politician or being experienced in todays political climate means youre either on the inner circle of the good old boys network and youre willing to rob peter to pay paul...

Or youre an outsider like AOC. Fringe beliefs etc.(or just plain dumb ideas)

In my opinion i would rather have a clean sweep of politicians out the door and a few years of average joes. Not actors not business moguls not sports stars not influencers, just dudes who work and pay taxes. The kind of dudes who prefer a beer and a game on TV than dancing around like a goober in a tick tock vid. Or using Twitter as a platform cough cough... I want vanity , nepotism. Gerrymandering and garbage out of politics...

The Rock aint got the balls for that... Literally and figuratively.

He was handed a spot in the wwf because of who his father was. He won his first match in the main event and was pushed immediately. Did he work hard? Absolutely. But let's not pretend he didn't get a lot of help along the way.

Reagan was probably our last great president. The Rock's politics are odd btw, he isn't a trumper but he isn't a socialist either. Kind of a moderate which I like.

Think about what you're saying.

You've just said that you would get rid of all current politicians and replace them with average Joes who have no political experience?!

Put a politician in the captains chair. They will fly it just fine. Reaching...

And yes, although you are arguing over the validity of an average person to be able to vote and draft on the introduction or repeal of either bad or reasonable legislation...

I would still rather have you! an internet arguing super warrior!, trying hard to prove his point no matter how moot or ridiculous it is, as speaker of the house, over skeletor.

Clearly, your mental superiority and ability to communicate with a stupid plebeian such as myself shows how right you are about the average citizens blatant misgivings and how imbeciles such as the hard working tax payer could never have the mental capacity to make decisions based on actual life experience.

I'm now so enlightened by your inaccurate and misguided funny paper meme wisdom and unwavering faith in "experienced" politicians.

The status quo must continue to protect big corporate interests, the military industrial complex, illigeal immigration, and a litany of other corruption, greed and actual morally bankrupt deficiencies.

The only way we can keep this going is with "experienced" politicians.

My whole life has been a lie... You should go into education, clearly you schooled me.

There is a lot of sarcasm in that post, yet very little of an argument as to why you think Joe Blogs off the street will be qualified for the biggest job in politics with no experience. I'll keep it to the POTUS role rather than the idea of getting rid of every US politician and replacing them with random citizens who "like watching TV".

If you have a valid and coherent argument then say it.

Just like any sample size of people there are shitheads and good ones. Most politicians are shitheads. I would rather have an honorable noob over an experienced politician..

If you would rather have experience over "tegridy" then you are going to keep getting the same shit in and out.

My coherent argument is that a politician is not some sort of awesome omnipotent being.

AOC for example was a bartender... I completely disagree with her politics and see her as a vain piece of shit.

But she can show up and vote and go to hearings and even introduce legislation..

Youre argument is that once she's tenured then she will be a good politician is not a very good one. Politicians are just elected citizens.

If you want to supple at the teat of "experience" with the rest of the mouth breathers that vote for the same dumpster fire year after year... Then you definitely will continue that same " experience".
