The Tribe Has Spoken
I came across this guy after he was mentioned on the Joe Rogan podcast and I just found it interesting. With the current weird state of the world, I found the simple lifestyle he portrayed in his films strangely attractive. I almost feel a longing for it.
I mean, I dabble. I have my garden, fruit trees, veggies, make my wine, sauce, meat products, but my shit is just a joke compared to this. Most of us are so disconnected from nature and what it is to be human and truly free.

Simple and peaceful.
Anyway. Hope someone else finds it interesting in these strange times.

Richard Louis Proenneke (/ˈprɛnəkiː/; May 4, 1916 – April 20, 2003) was an American self-educated naturalist who lived alone for nearly thirty years in the mountains of Alaska in a log cabin that he constructed by hand near the shore of Twin Lakes. Proenneke hunted, fished, raised and gathered his own food, and also had supplies flown in occasionally. He documented his activities in journals and on film, and also recorded valuable meteorological and natural data.[1] The journals and film were later used by others to write books and produce documentaries about his time in the wilderness.
