Yes, no, sort of.One of the features is having the game linked to your Steam account though.
Yes, no, sort of.
If a game offers nothing else but +1 to your Steam library, that's still nice to have. Mainly because I have hundreds of games, and if I have to hunt around for my discs which I store in another room or find the installer online from Humble Store or whereever, then I'm all the more likely to forget that I own it. I'm constantly buying new hardware and sometimes I want to do a fresh Windows install, so it's convenient to have your entire game library available just by reinstalling the Steam client (assuming you store your game data on another disk) and not have to mess with manually reinstalling games and adding links to Steam library.
But ideally, they should include Steam cloud as well, because it's a hassle to manage save games manually if you play on multiple machines. Plus I tend to forget about all the different places games put your save files and I'll forget to back them up before reformatting.
Achievements aren't really a convenience feature like the other stuff I mentioned, but I kind of like them for some reason. If I had to pick between cheevos and cloud, I'd take cloud though.
Civilization IV any good?
Thinking about picking that or ARMA II up for DayZ
The Combined Operations pack has been #1 on the Core Games list (#2 on the PC games list) at Amazon for a while now.
I guess DayZ had a nice effect.
Pretty sure DayZ has caused at least 100k or more sales by now. Its been number 1 or number 2 on Steam this entire week as well.
Around what time will Tera be going on sale? I need to grab a copy before it possibly gets sold out.
I love DayZ.
Your heart's in the right place, you should be ashamedI'm ashamed to say this but I'm somewhat glad Front Mission isn't within my price-range. I would have bought it in an instant![]()

A little piece of advice for all of you guys entering fake U.S. addresses to order:
Pick an address in Oregon. They don't have sales tax.
So...Civilization IV Complete and Stronghold Collection gets optional Steam key version for those who want all their games on Steam. Thanks for giving us more options, Tony!
I don't know if this works. I actually live in Oregon and have so for years, but when I recently pre-ordered Lollipop Chainsaw I still had sales tax.
Yes, yes I can. I can be very judgmental, you know. Can you really blame me for loving mechs? Can you?
I decided to get that Square Enix bundle.. Too good a deal to pass up.
Don't know if this is the best place to post this, but does anybody want Supreme Commander 2? It's not really my thing.
First quote gets the code in a PM.
Tony, are you able to say how long the Warlock sale will run?

You mean master of the Arcane? It runs through 30 days post release.
Cheers,
Tony
Any chance of having a Steam-activated version of these games, Tony?![]()
You can try using Amazon payments, instead.Amazon would be rich if they'd let me pay them in Paypal.
New stuff coming: EA racing games for $5 each: Burnout Paradise, NFS Shift, Shift 2, Hot Pursuit, and Undercover. There's also EA racing pack bundle, but the price hasn't been updated.

What's the best of these titles, excluding Burnout?
That is what I meant and thanks very much!

Unless it happens to be an EA partners game without Origin. (Shank, Deathspank etc)Getting a Steam code for an EA game is about as common as getting a tall, cold glass of unicorn milk.
Tony, quick question, is there a four pack for PAYDAY available? I want to make myself a crew![]()
