Amazon's PANIC.

GAF won't let me post screenshot. But from bus ads it looks like The Descent. But synopsis for n Amazon says "The newly graduated seniors await the kick off signal from this year's judges and tensions build as old friends become competitors". FFS Benzo, hire even a semi competent team to write your streaming services. 😱🤷

Its unbelievable to me how a company with that much money cant hire someone to run the streaming side and make it not shit. They dont advertise anything, they dont buy any good shows or movies, they have the worst UI of the bunch.
The Boys, Invincible and Fleabag are all amazing though.

But you're right, their marketing sucks. I would've never heard of any of them if it weren't for word of mouth.

Amazon Prime is the beast streaming service for low-budget horror. I would suggest some of that. There are also a ton of good documentaries about nearly anything you could imagine on there.

I can't stand Prime. The UI is absolute garbage.

Hulu is my favorite streaming service ATM.
THIS. It's embarrassing that one of the world's biggest companies can't come up with something better after all these years. Day 1 Netflix had a better UI than Prime Video has now.

It kinds of blows my mind how these multi billion dollar tech companies that are shoveling millions into content for their streaming services can't seem to manage to create an easy to use, efficient UI. I don't feel like its that hard. Youtube does a better job and it has infinite content to try and sort. The streaming services are walled-gardens and they can't manage to be as organized or easy to use as YouTube.

It’s not bad. Some silly teenage drama but there’s definitely some enjoyable moments. There’s some underlying sinister stuff going on in the background of the overall “game”.

I liked the first season of Man in the High Castle.

That's the problem. The lazy ass intern who wrote the first episode description makes it sound like it's another installment in a dancing franchise. While the poster makes it look like a gritty horror franchise.

I can’t speak on that. I’m at episode 7 out of 10 and it’s far from terrible. I don’t think there will be a second season as it seems set up where it won’t be necessary. I also wouldn’t call it horror. Maybe psychological thriller with a bit of mystery thrown in.
To answer the original post, I saw the trailer in between episodes of another show I was finishing. But yeah. That description is shit

I don't think anyone is arguing against the quality of the content. Amazon has some good stuff on their service, the problem is the UI is trash, so finding anything or learning about anything via it is awful. Good content, poor execution basically.

Ah, my mistake. I haven't had prime in a few years.

Amazon is supposed to have the biggest IT infrastructure of all the streaming services. apparently most of the resources are focused on stealing the business of mom and pop stores in India.
