Following the unveiling of NVIDIA RTX 40 SUPER details, we present the first official specifications for the Radeon RX 7600 XT, AMD’s latest desktop gaming GPU. The card is now officially priced at $329, which is $60 more than the RX 7600 non-XT variant released several months ago. While the card boasts twice the memory capacity, it will maintain the same 128-bit memory bus and 18 Gbps chips, ensuring that the speed and bandwidth remain unchanged.
Regrettably, AMD has opted not to utilize the Navi 32 GPU for this SKU, opting to stick with Navi 33 instead. As a result, the specifications are capped at 32 Compute Units and 2048 Stream Processors. The main changes are the clock speeds. They went up from 2.25/2.66 GHz to 2.47/2.76 GHz for game and boost clocks respectively.
The Ryzen 7 5700X3D features 8 cores and 16 threads, it will launch with a base clock of 3.0 GHz and a boost clock of 4.1 GHz. The CPU officially has 100MB of total cache and 105W TDP. These specs are similar to Ryzen 7 5800X3D which basically offers 400 MHz higher clocks. That highly popular AM4 CPU for gaming debuted in April 2020 at $449, and it currently retails at around $359 on Amazon. The 5700X3D is starting at $249, which is $100 less than the 5800X3D.
