Cheaper* than the 8GB 5060 Ti.Eh. Not a good card -_-
What is the price difference between them ? I don't see a peasant buying this over a 5060ti
That doesn't say much . For me ( personally ) even if it's up to 100$ more, I'll stick with the 5060ti 16gb .Cheaper* than the 8GB 5060 Ti.
MFG is absolutely awful on this GPU. Very few games are going to get above 60 fps. You really need a base frame of 70 - 80 to make FG viable. AMD actually has very good framegen. In fact I used AMD framegen in Horizon Forbidden West (HFW) instead of nvidia on my 5070 Ti and 4090 setup. Why you may ask? Nvidia Frame Gen forces Reflex on. Reflex causes horrible microstutters in HFW. I turned on AMD FG (with nvidia DLAA), reflex off and I now have a butter smooth experience. That doesn't say much . Just for multi frame gen ( which is super needed for these kind of cards if your base frame is 60 and above and playing single player games ), better DLSS ( not much but still ) and better ray tracing .
Just don't see the card attractive at all .
Unless you are super tight on budget you can't put that much more ( and in this case I don't think GPUs should be a priority to you ) lol
Speaking in general not directly at u
You're hilariously assuming the 5060 Ti is available at MSRP....So basically it has to sell below $400 or you'd be goofy not to get the 5060 Ti 16GB. Or if people were even smarter, spend that $400-$450 on a 7800 XT which is better than both the cards.
No, I'm not. I'm saying it doesn't make sense to buy the 9060 XT above $400 for what's offered. Might as well just get the 5060 Ti up to a point. Which is why I also said skip both cards and grab a 7800 XT that is faster than both. But again, if the 9060 XT comes out to be $430-$450 after the greed and tarrifs, spend that extra $20 on the 5060 Ti if you just absolutely have to be on the latest GPUs, lolYou're hilariously assuming the 5060 Ti is available at MSRP....
Sadly 7800XTs have also gone up in price, too. I havent seen one under $500 for a while. No, I'm not. I'm saying it doesn't make sense to buy the 9060 XT above $400 for what's offered. Can't talk about USA but in Europe it's not hard to see it for 20-30€ less than it's MSRP.You're hilariously assuming the 5060 Ti is available at MSRP....
It will sell okish if its 350$ like with msrp, what im predicting card gonna be around 8gigs 5060ti in price, so around/over 400$ actually, maybe in few months worst/cheapest models will go down to 350 but thats itGet rid of the 8GB model and make this $300 and we have a winner. $350 is a high asking price.
Yeah, that is true, too. Sometimes folks can get lucky. These Murica prices are real tough right now, haha.Sadly 7800XTs have also gone up in price, too. I havent seen one under $500 for a while.
Microcenter consistently has 5060Ti 16GB cards for $430. Basically no point in getting 9060XT unless it's say under $370.You're hilariously assuming the 5060 Ti is available at MSRP....
I'm also thinking to get, for short time. Because RDNA5 will be massive overhaul uarch.even thinking on getting one before the 9070 XT to replace my 6700 XT just so I can have FSR 4 and better performance,
Yeah, I was hoping that this would be near the 4070 and this would be a decent GPU.Microcenter consistently has 5060Ti 16GB cards for $430. Basically no point in getting 9060XT unless it's say under $370.
Separately I think a used 4070 or 4070 Super would be best bet, but I have no idea on used prices for that.
Exactly. This should cost $300 to be worthy. $350 is high.Get rid of the 8GB model and make this $300 and we have a winner. $350 is a high asking price.
DF specifically said in the video not to buy the 5060. Or at least if you are interested in AAA gaming.DF...5060 stays winning! Smaller form factor, lower power, easily available at MSRP-discounts

There is always a spot for 5060, dont doubt Jensenmans
Good luck with that 8GB VRAMDF...5060 stays winning! Smaller form factor, lower power, easily available at MSRP-discounts

Maybe that's specific for couple of games but amd doesn't have the multi frame gen so you won't get the extra buttery smooth feeling ( lol )MFG is absolutely awful on this GPU. I am not going to pretend that is the norm for all games,
The only area that AMD still needs work is with ray tracing and nobody is using that on a 5060 Ti or a 9060XT.
EIther way, this isn't priced in a way that screams "Buy Me"
Last gen, I would have easily said nvidia was worth the premium, but the driver issues, QC issues and AMD catching up with FSR4 no longer makes nvidia worth paying a huge premium for.
I say this as someone who traded in their 9070XT for a 5070 Ti....go figure.
Yeah, it's not a great GPU, but it isn't super terrible either, but it should be $300 and the 8GB $250I don't see how this is bad if you want a 16gb card. It's probably not going to be terribly far above msrp since nvidia has been able to supply this market, which is the mass market segment anyhow.

Yea the price difference is big between the two and they're both potent cards.I might bite for this price, £80 cheaper than the 5060 Ti (16GB).
