Honestly, if they just show the earth breathing again, or something to do with that creepy dead tree, and left it at that, I would be happy.Wonder if they will do anymore lovecraft horror. The only hints of that they have done is lady gaga character and when you saw the earth breathing like it was alive.
There was definitely something supernatural going on with her just up and disappearing. She may have been getting intermittently possessed until the real Butcher made her appearance at the end.Wow real butcher finally makes her appearance. There goes the theory I was buying into that Kathy Bates was possessed. Guess she was just full on crazy. Can't wait to see what happens next.
I know not everyone loves the tv show dynamic of this year but I feel the pacing and story has been some of the tightest Ryan Murphey has done
Lots of people saying the camera Polk looked like Finn.
As for the tightness of this season, it really feels like this season has given the series new life. It may not be to everyone's taste, but it feels new for the series. The last few seasons felt like everyone going through the motions.
This has been an awful season. It just seems like shouting and people getting killed the entire time. It's not even scary or creepy at this point.
That's cause re7 is using a lot of other horror movies as inspiration.everything reminded me of resident evil 7 showing even the preview damn almost like a exact copy in themes.
I love how all the real ghosts and locations (like the Potts actual house) looks dirtier and grittier than the "show". To think my bf was saying that the dirt and whatnot looks fake in the early episodes lol.

Did I miss something? why was he in love with the creature?
When he had his second encounter with her he said that she opened up to completely, her whole past and everything she's experienced. Said he had never felt anything like it before and that he would've stayed with her had it not been for Shelby.Did I miss something? why was he in love with the creature?
Another crazy thing is Scathag is supposed to be the original supreme and she barely put up any fight.
Did they explain why the women didn't take the car when they got to the trailer? I was really confused when they were still walking in the woods in the next scene.
Yep.I don't need to see anymore heads being bashed in. I have met my quota for the week.
Since when was this series inconvenienced by logic? Murphy could have Gaga get possessed by the real witch or something. Simple as that.I think logistically Ryan Murphy really wrote himself into a corner. He wanted Gaga for that character but it's obvious he couldn't get her to film her later scenes. I was surprised we even saw the character this episode.
Actually now that I'm thinking about it wasn't Gaga meant to be the ACTRESS playing that character? So it doesn't make sense when Ryan said he wanted to bring her back in another season since she's technically not the real Scatach
I actually really liked the final episode. It was a neat epilogue, even if the season could've ended the episode before it.Yeah... Asylum minus the final episode is the best season by far.
Asylum deliberately had an ending to a single storyline in the episodes leading up to the finale. It was incredibly well structured.I actually really liked the final episode. It was a neat epilogue, even if the season could've ended the episode before it.
Another twist, something we aren't expecting most likely.
For something that's been around that long she barely put up a fight.
We should all do an Asylum re-watch.
I'm not sure it's a twist as much asI'm pretty sure (part speculation from a Ryan Murphy interview)Murphy has confirmed another twist incoming
Doing a successful straight up horror/slasher film in a TV series is a daunting task. Scream on MTV hasn't been able to pull it off, but they've succeeded here, and that's a huge accomplishment.I just watched Hotel on Bluray and I'm watching Asylum right now. I think Hotel might have surpassed Asylum as favorite season. Also, I just realized Robin Weigert was in Asylum and then I see they bring her back in the latest episode of Roanoke. Complete with Calamity Jane accent!
I'm liking Roanoke so far, but I think it will end up being the least memorable season. It's very well done, but the story is more of a straight forward horror movie. Rewatching Hotel and Asylum in the middle of Roanoke just contrasts how little there is to the characters in the latest season as well.

i love that a "dramatic reenactment" series has become a "reality show", with all the actors and people from the original real story together as twice the number of potential bodies. and now we get to see what the real horrors are.....the idea behind this season is completely brilliant. and kathy bates is giving her best performance of any ahs season in this latest episode.
I don't know how you guys are loving this, but to each their own. I'm forcing myself to watch it here.
It's just so cheesy, all over the place, lowbrow, C-tier, etc. The acting isn't that good, the writing is laughable...
To each their own, I guess.
There, I've fed you by quoting you. Are you happy now? We recognize you don't like it.

Wanted to like this season. Too much cliche poop forced in for cheap shock value.
