I hope you never watch something like The Inbetweeners if you think American Pie is vulgar.

I thought Horrible Bosses hit the right ratio of sexual comedy to overall comedy. It wasn't to the point where it got super uncomfortable to watch.

Same thing with the original Austin Powers film, though obviously the sequels ramped that up, and that's largely why I like them much less.

Huh, I thought Horrible Bosses was more vulgar than American Pie overall (though I'd still class it as mild!) Austin Powers never really stretched that vulgar barrier because it was never meant to be taken particularly seriously. Or at least, that's how I saw it.

God damn, I feel old now. Saw the first one when I was a sophomore in high school. Loved the first one, and enjoyed the 2 after. Never cared (nor seen) the spin offs.

Can't wait to see this one. Good to see Oz and the whole crew coming back.

Worth watching for Stiffler who was hilarious, I don't remember much of the rest of the cast. I don't think I've seen any other of the movies except part 1 and 2. I don't remember anything from part 2. I remember lots of stuff from part 1 though I was so young when I saw it lol. Seeing that girl naked on the bed was one of my first OMG TITS SO HOT moments as a kid.

Ive never heard someone refer to Amercian pie as vulgar or even uncomfortable to watch until now. I think it would be considered tame now days. The only time recently that ive felt that way was in hall pass with owen wilson in the hot tub and what ensues shortly after.

I was 19 when the first one hit and it was a huge movie for me at that time, especially as it painted a picture of my generation that was totally alien to a guy growing up in Manchester (more like Shameless...).

I nostalgia'd hard at that teaser if only for the music, the soundtrack to the first movie was amazing. I liked the second but never sat through the third and have avoided the shitty spin-off's but I may check this out, if only for the sake of the actors needing to eat.

It's funny how they were all going to be the 00's big things, whole career ahead of them, "we made it guys" and only Hannigan and Scott can say they had a career since really.

This is what I wrote in my post exactly. It's crazy that not one of them reached what they were projected to. Now coming back to this, it's in a way them realizing this is the one thing that worked for them.

Was Fast times considered a comedy? Past Sean Penn, its pretty serious and down to earth from what i recall
