Nintendo has said that is the plan for a while now. If they do more wave 3-sized releases, they'll easily get through the roster before the end of the year. With the rumors of Mario Party 10 being the next big game for full-on Amiibo support, they would have to get those out of the way.

So far so good from online in-store pick-up orders. They had Zelda for me on the 17th and Little Mac for me on the 19th. In fact, when I went to pick up Little Mac today, they had another Zelda with my name on it even though I had already picked it up earlier in the week; I didn't buy. I'm holding out for my other pre-orders of Wave 2 and Wave 3 from them.

But still hunting Target for new releases; found a display of about 6 Capt Falcons last night at a Target, which are all gone now according to the inventory tracker. Still looking out for Pit. Whenever we decide to make this the OT the tagline definitely needs to be "The Thirst is Real."

There seem to be Pits out there somewhere. I've been searching "Pit Amiibo" on Twitter for a while and, every once in a while, there's evidence of them popping up.

Someone said they found one in San Antonio this morning. They didn't say where, but there's a picture. I don't recognize the price tag.

I also saw one yesterday that said there was a Gamestop within 40 miles of him that had one in stock. I can't find that tweet anymore, but I think they were from Ohio.

Thanks for this post! I sometimes forget that I still know people that manage Gamestops (worked there from 2000 - 2008). Hopefully they'll have an extra one that they can hold for me!
