wow, small world. you've got insane timing! I've been refreshing the inventory tracker between smash 1v1 for glory matches and I called the instant I saw it pop up as in stock, you just happen to be in the store at the right time or something?

anyway, enjoy him! he's the last one I needed for wave 2 as well, although I'm not too concerned. I snuck a pre-order in with walmart earlier so if it comes down to it I know I'll have one coming.

Instead familiarize yourself with the Page Monitor Chrome extension. Under advanced mode, you can have it scan specific parts of pages for changes, and have it play a sound when it finds one.

It's what I usually use when waiting for stock to drop. I just wanted redundancy for Rosalina

I hope after Wave 3 that Nintendo decides to include non-Smash Amiibo into Waves 4 and beyond. Really hoping that Captain Toad and Toadette get Amiibos instead of the Smash characters just unlocking random bonuses in CT:TT.

Better yet what if buying an amiibo unlocked new DLC characters? I'd buy Ice Climbers Amiibo to make them playable in game like Skylanders to me that's actually a great value. Alas Nintendo will never do it.

Called a bunch of Gamestops around the Las Vegas area, none had Pit except for 1. I asked if it was a pre-order and the chic said nope, and offered to hold it for me if I wanted! I was super excited and told her I needed to take a friend to the airport and would be there in about two hours and she said no problem! Finally got a Pit in my hands and the pro sticker was so fresh that it came off super easy, Yay!

You're in Vegas too? Sorry if the East Tropicana location told you they were out. They were holding one for me. =)

Page monitor is good. Helped me win a few Mondo poster drops (if you think Amiibos are hard to get, try mondo poster drops...). Just make sure you right click on it to change "options". Default refresh time is 3 hours or something. You can scale it down to like 5 seconds.

Gamestop just got Pit...but just enough to fill preoders so I'm out of luck. I need to pester TRU ever couple of hours in order to get him. Wouldn't be so bad if TRU wasn't next to the biggest mall in the busiest shopping week where I live

I preordered Pit a month ago from GameStop, got a message today saying he was available for pickup... Drive down to the store, workers there say Pit sold out (sad face) I think I'm done with Preorders at GameStop. Same thing happened to me with Bravely Default CE And a Dragon Quest slime plushy too at GS.

The local GS got two, both for preorders. When I asked the store manager about them, he told me he could see if he could order me one. I told him it was no big deal. His face turned super serious, and he said "yes it is a big deal! you don't understand, if you don't get these now, you don't get them!"

Never before have I had someone so aggressively sell me something they didn't even have to sell.

Just threw up in my mouth a little. I thought with the "release" of him would bring down that stupid ass number. I love the support for getting a Pit amiibo but it's not worth 60-70 dollars though. Freaking scalpers man!

See that is the part I don't understand! There is a demand for Pit! That fact is evident! So why can't Nintendo fill that demand and take the money for them selves. They really must hate money if the fail to capitalize on this opportunity.

i dont know. not many listings popped up after today when gamestop got them. they must have cut off preorders really early since each store either had just enough for preorders or maybe 1 extra. there would be 5000 listings if it was all scalpers. i thought i saw some gamestop.com orders getting canceled for pit too.

i think every characters amiibo has an issue. either with paint, being bent or both. i have yet to see a straight samus or a link looking up.....oh well, theyre still cool.

Did you get charged for it? I ordered a few hours ago and have been charged but not shipped. Dont know if that for sure means it wont get cancelled though.
