Target didn't have any type of limit per customer. At least one troll bragged to a Gaffer that he had pre-ordered 100 Rosalinas and we "can't do jack shit about it."

They've cancelled a Pit I ordered back in November for no reason and also a Fox because my shipping address was wrong (never bothered to send me an email about it - just kept sending it and having it bounce back apparently). Yeah, Target are pretty unreliable in my book, even though the second issue was admittedly a mistake on my part.

Did they? The guy could have very well been lying. Just seemed like a troll. He also claimed Pit starred in hentai, so take it for what it's worth. Should dig through this thread to find the actual quote - it was so venomous, it was almost funny. Guy is apparently 34 too according to Skype.

yea skylanders was hell especially the first series i still have nightmares about waiting outside of toys r us for 3hrs to make sure i got the Dragons Peak expansion pack...

I thought the very first time she went up, there was no limit. It was the second time that they set the limit of 3 per customer. I don't know for sure though, I didn't get her either time even though I literally had her in my cart and was finalizing paypal the first time :.[

Your right there wasn't a limit the first time it went up. So it's very possible (and I wouldn't doubt likely) someone ordered 100+

Had gotten a call from Gamestop's automated system saying something was in for me. The only thing I had pre-ordered was Amiibos, so I called this morning to see if they had Pit and they said they had 3 for pre-order. Went in and picked it up.

They had never checked them into inventory so they never showed as available for that store, which all stores should do so that it doesn't get people's hopes up. Anyway, here's me holding my Pit. Not worried about the sticker because I am about to open it.

Also, that gives me the 18 Amiibos for Waves 1 and 2 and I am done until Wave 3, which feels awesome.

There was not a limit when it was available the first time prior to the official release day. And him being 34 imo just makes it more funny that someone his age would be so salfy about buying all of them.

The sticker is really easy to take off slowly without damage too. Done it with a few already.
 
My gamestop down the road is awesome and puts the stickers on the corner of the box just barely touching the clear plastic so they are easy to pull off :)

When you reach a certain level of adulthood, you should have outgrown such douchebaggory. Preordering hundreds or not, to privately gloat and taunt someone's genuine hopes and desires is pretty jacked up. That's 14 year old level crap.

They are certainly interesting choices aren't they? You have a third-party, a couple newcomers, a couple clones, some unlockables, and even an N64 original! Quite the mixed bag...
 
Has anyone had luck finding Pit yet at Target in the US? Seems Pit is all over the Bay Area Gamestops in California, but 2 hour drive would be nuts right now. Hope they reach here soon, worried about my Best Buy preorder and I really dont wanna miss Pit.

Pit is pulling up at GS 30 minutes opposite of my way back to work. Augh I feel awful today so I may just past, or should I truck on through and make my way there? =|
 
Picked up Pit this morning. Gamestop got 3 in yesterday, 2 on preorder. Hadn't opened up the shipment sitting next to the registers yet, so he took my name and number and said he'd call if they were in there. Left a message last night while my phone was dead saying they did get it and they would hold it 24 hours, got in there 5 minutes after they'd opened and he'd already had 3 people call in and 2 people stop in asking for it based on the online inventory search.

Thank you Gamestop employee, you rock! Just missing Captain Falcon from Wave 2 now.

Just go to best buy on the 30th otherwise? Prolly Walmart too tbh... Honestly I'm cosidering that from now on for difficult ones just be at walmart the midnight before the list release on there site and ask someone to check the back for them... I have 2 like 5-15mins from my house that I could easily do this for.

On my mobile, GAF's ad system used to constantly show me ads for HIV treatments. I've always wondered how it worked, as there's nobody on our WiFi who has ever searched for such a thing or had the disease. Really odd. Now I get a lot of X1 ads, on both platforms.
 
Anyone hunting for Little Mac? I'm seeing him in stock in and around NJ, at various Gamestops.

He seems a lot harder to get than Pit though... are people finding that, or do folks just not really care about him as much?
