There seems to be an abundance of Pikachu, Mario, Donkey Kong, Peach and Pikachu in stock from the stores I visited on my lunch break; the remaining are all sold out.
I did a hunt for Marth yesterday, and obviously it was sold out through the 4-5 stores I checked for him. The only rare one I saw was Wii-Fit Trainer, while everything else was abundant. But Amazon was opening up orders for Marth, so I snagged an order, although it looks like he isn't up anymore after an hour or two for curiosity. I didn't see Villager, surprisingly, but hopefully they open up more orders, because the eBay prices are ridiculous.
Screw Wal-Mart for telling me they had it for store pickup and cancelling my order

Actually eBay prices for Marth seem to have plummeted. Think to many people thought they could flip and flooded the market.
A lot of stores that are out of stock on it now have dates on when they'll ship to you.

Toys R' Us sucks at packaging. I just received my Mario in the mail. It came in a f#&$%# padded envelope. Lets just say the packaging for the amiibo is not in good condition. DO NOT order from Toys R' Us online if you don't plan to open and use your amiibo. I cringe to think the condition of the other two when they arrive. Does anyone know if you can swap online ordered products at the store?

My level 50 Fox and I had a good match the first time. It was basically a defensive struggle (blocking, jumping around, and light attacks). He edge guarded me HARD to get the only fall.
Next round he smoked me. Definitely harder than a level 9 CPU.

Just went to a Walmart and they had all 12, with only one Marth left... so I grabbed it even though I already have one. I also grabbed a Mario/Kirby at Gamestop for almost free with some of the power up reward coupons from cashing in points, so yay for that!
Still waiting for Best Buy to send me Wii Fit Trainer (shipped today), and Villager (it says it's on preorder still?)
So now what to do with the spare Marth... ugh why did I even grab it.

That's weird my pikachu came in a huge cardboard box. How did they ship yours, UPS,USPS?
It's based on a single photo that's been passed around. I checked a handful of them at the store and none looked like the photo. Mine looks fine as well.

Might br able to get one tomorrow by some luck (money) its hard, I'm trying to figure out how to spend my money for the next six months in advance. Managing Books and Games was one thing, but now amiibos?!
Heres what I plan to get at the moment, may change in a moment:
Wave 1:
1: Samus
2: Yoshi
3: Kirby
Wave 2:
4: Luigi (May not get due to stupid looking plastic, but that pose is perfection, will most likely get)
5: Pit (May wait on Dark Pit instead,...or get both. Love KIU.)
Wave 3:
6: Toon Link
7: Rosalina & Luma
8: Mega Man
9: Shulk
May not be able to get all these due to money. I want to go ahead and preorder TL and MM at amazon in early December when I get money just to secure them. (I preorder with GC since preordering with CC is unreliable.) Going after my most favorite characters only, but also trying not to get too many in a single franchise and wanting a couple limited runs like Shulk despite not playing his game for around 12 hours. (Plan to finish when 3DS game comes out.)
Going to try my luck and wait and see if there will be a female Villager. What a slap in the face if there isn't both genders for all characters but I wouldn't put it past them. You never know with this industry. I still might get a couple others like Wii Fit Trainer, DK, MetaKnight, and Pikachu but these are my must haves at the moment which may need to be cut back even further lest I get no games for the entire first half of 2015.
When do yall think they will announce a fourth wave? by end of December? i'm figuring out what to spend 6 months ahead because if I misspend I could be fucked out've something. Hopefuly it doesn't release until atleast April. Need to know if its rest of 3DS starters. WiiU starters, or maybe 3DS+Gender alts which i suspect may happen since they can release them all in one wave. You never know, they might just decide to switch it up with a different series of amiibos. Amiibos are driving me insane.

My Samus amiibo got overpowered to the point where I couldn't beat her in a 2-stock match using my best characters. Started doing omega levels, no items and found Little Mac's speed and power proved a worthy counter to her. Was able to consistently beat Samus again and had several epic 5-stock matches in a row.

Thankfully I am not going to be getting any wave two characters. I want to get a Kirby for sure when Rainbow Curse comes out.
My John Cena Villager Amiibo is now Level 50 and I don't think he's really learned anything.
He still doesn't know how to use the tree, even though I keep using it on him and he keeps falling for it.
He also taunts after killing me, and I sure as hell never taught him that. Cena is overconfident.

did anyone else see samus figures that had scratched paint in different places? I forgot to mention it earlier but the last two samus figures at gamestop looked like they had razor blade scratches.
My Villager Amiibo doesn't use the tree either and I tried tons of different training methods to try and get him to use it. I started from level 1 all the way up to level 50 but no dice.
What do you guys think?
I saw a few demon spawn eyes and a few cross-eyed Links on Friday but then when I went to another store on Saturday there was only one Link which I put on hold already.
I left it at work and didn't get a chance to grab it till now. I examined the face and it bothers me like Marth how the face doesn't look like the artwork.
On the other hand, I think the face sorta passes and looks decent for a Link lol. (Marth just looks sad and depressed for most paintjobs..)
EDIT: The more I look at this one the more I'm inclined to keep it, hah...

I gotta say seeing Amiibo GIRL is really different than seeing in pictures
I excepted them to be a little smaller, some of them are really decent and some are really bad(bad painting, bad manufacturing,).
So I picked up one in my shop as a starfox fan(fox looks really cool).
