I was just playing Smash against Samus and it clicked that her Amiibo/Smash render pose resembles that when she steps out of the chamber in her match entrance (I'm also aware of the pose in the Metroid manga).

back when these were still new, and people were starting to have trouble finding them in stores, toys R us had them readily available online and also had 3 for $10 deal going. so I bought three for $30.
I also reported to the forums multiple times (I think in this very thread) the deal and that they were available and implored everyone to buy one if they needed him.
anyway, I still don't know what I'm going to do with them.

I may have pre-ordered Meta Knight, Rosalina and Lucario from the UK even though I live in Canada because I don't want to miss them and the thirst is real.

In the UK she's on Amazon (as well as Lucario, Shulk and Meta Knight). No idea about Game, ShopTo and Nintendo's UK store yet. I imagine she'll be everywhere throughout Europe though. Can't see her and the other exclusives being "open" in some EU countries whilst exclusive in others.

Ugh, I told my brother the news about $1 billion in sales for Amiibos, and he just says "Are people really that stupid?!," followed by me making an innocent jab at his cat girl doll collection. Then he gets all pissed and says that his collection is now worth $400 a doll, while Amiibos are worthless and stupid.

TRU has a small allotment for preorders. I don't believe they take many of them. My local store has about 10 per figure I believe.
As far as I know, they take the preorders out of initial shipments and sell the ones that they dont have reserved. So of course they can't reserve their entire shipment.
Using my knowledge of how stores have been for Skylanders and Infinity, I'd say Rosalina will be very rare if she's not purchased ASAP. Target tends to not restock their exclusives after the first order. Best Buy *might* have more after the initial shipment or a large enough amount that it doesn't matter. Gamestop should too, although they have sold out of their Alt Deco Skylanders when they launch so ehh.
TRU, you'll never have any problem finding their exclusive figures. They have so many its not even funny and they shelfwarm forever. So Lucario should have a long and happy life hanging on the pegs of TRU's stores throughout next year....
Hopefully they restock or have them in store on launch day. I'd really like one, and I rather be able to see the packaging and paint job before I buy it. At this reate though, I'm not even sure if we'll see any in store. Jesus.

Wouldnt it be cheaper just to buy them off ebay at this point. time is worth money and gas is expensive. I understand not wanting to let them win but you may be costing yourself more in the long run.
Lucairo is exclusive to Toys R Us but sold out online. They should have them in store day one.

I'm driving out that way anyway and I know some people at a store I'm going to that I haven't seen in awhile I used to work with...I almost bought one off CL, but I just can't justify spending 3X or more what it's sold in stores for when supply is supposedly still incoming. Especially when I want to open it...if I was keeping it sealed that's one thing, but I actually want to use mine.

Nice, you got a Fox with a good paint job. Mine's got a fucked up nose or something, but the only other one in the store had some worse issues. It seems hard to find a good looking Fox like yours.
I think I'm gonna go return it tomorrow actually. Just went to open the box but I looked at it again first and DAMN is that nose ugly. It looks like it split open or somthing, so half of it is white.
