I searched for days, drove 30 minutes north to a smaller city and still nothing :-/
Sounds very YMMV because of how awful some stores are at stocking things but best of luck. I hate myself for paying as much as I did, but hey if I find one on Sunday with the new ones I can always be one of those awful people and resell it to cover the cost.

In my case, it's across about 15 cities/metropolitan areas in Canada, so, yeah. If nobody spots anything, I'll bite the bullet, but if word gets in that they're showing up this weekend (is Sunday the release after all? I was going to go take a look Friday after work) I'll hold my breath again.

Since EE canceled my WFT and Marth I ordered them fro PlayAsia. Hope this one works out.
Yes, the trainer to. Sold out online and at most stores.
If you compare ebay prices (buy it now) though, from last I checked:
$90 over for Marth
$70 over for Villager
$30 over for WFT
US versions, the Japanese versions are cheaper
WFT hasn't reached insane prices yet anyway.
Oh, yeah, totally forgot about her. So, Marth + Villager and WFT.

Her too. I've never seen even one in the wild. She seemed to be available online recently, but only for a bit. If you ever find one and you're into having rare ones, buy it up.

Just called my local EB Games and they said the release is friday. In Canada.
Decided to go with this for Marth and Villager. Already ordered Lucario as well as Ike, Meta Knight and Mega Man
Friday trip it is. My poor wallet.
It's also available in Amazon but of course if you care about their shitty shipping lol

Ike is definitely going to be hard to find.
Not sure how they are handling 3rd party characters, so maybe those? Or the retail exclusives?
The only ones I don't see being rare is Rosalina, Bowser, and Toon Link...maybe Shiek
I only preordered Wave 3 from them, rather just find Little Mac and Diddy in stores if I want them.
I finally finished my second Link, but not that happy with it.
Oh well.
I'm really starting to get up-set over the lack of Rosalina/Shulk/Lucario/Meta Knight news for Canada. Seeing so many places in the US sell out already, and not even a mention as to what store(s) will be offering them in Canada [if any].
It's one thing to have retailer-specific items, it's another entirely to have them be retailer-specific as well as extremely limited. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to see us get them at all, and if we do, they'll likely be in such short supply that they'll be sold out in the span of a few hours.
I'd import from the US, but I'd rather not pay the brokerage charges for Gamestop.com and Lucario is already sold out. No mention of Rosalina at all.
This is just one big headache.

Donkey Kong is out-of-stock here in Canada, so when I see him become available again I'll order him.
I still need to pre-order a few more from Wave 3.

Peach is almost the same.
Then sometimes you find Fox, Kirby or Link.

If I was buying these to collect they'd be going back for sure.
I bought eShop cards on BF and they arrived in a box. These are in bubble wrap bag and are all three not worthy of any collection. The figures themselves probably still work and that is why I bought them but I'm still so fucking mad and I have no idea where to complain. I just want my future ones shipped in a box.

I've ordered 2 (not too happy with the first's face) so I'm good. Make sure to check out their quality in the store. Since they are mass produced there will be some that look much better than others.
Probably, I haven't decided yet.
I'll definitely want the core main characters, which include basically all of Wave 1. The smaller figures, such as the varying Pokémon and such [considering how many there are], I might pass on, but I'll still want to grab Pikachu just 'cause he's essentially the face of Pokémon. For Sheik, Toon Link, etc. I may pass on those, but I'll see when they're released and how I feel about them then.
But yes, Wave 1 will be mine.

Have you guys seen those Amiibo Travel Case things? I didn't know they existed, just saw them on the EB NZ site when checking to see if wave 3 was up for pre-order yet.

To start with I was just like oh yea generic Mario thing they're passing off as an Amiibo case but it looks like its actually Amiibo branded.

Yeah, I ordered 3 Kirbys. One for myself, two for gifts, they shoved them all in a bubble mailer. The boxes and everything were all kinds of crushed. I decided to return them and go with something else, though I'm sure the critters inside were fine. I returned them in the hopes that maybe it'll make a difference in how they pack things in the future.

I thought the Moncolle stuff would be enough but I couldn't resist the Amiibo. I regret buying the Greninja one since I'm still getting the Amiibo lol

Where is Little Mac already available? I've got him pre-ordered on Amazon with a we have no idea when it'll be delivering, and Gamestop's website, and Best Buy's websites both say he's not out yet.
