Yeah, mine got a big restock, including all of the rares. Now I have five (Peach, Link, WFT, Villager, and Marth) and I'm content for now. I'll nab the rest of wave 1 when I have spare coin or when they go on sale.

Are certain amiibos like shulk retailer exclusive in NA only? So in other countries you can buy them anywhere right?

I really like the figures just as figures, and I use them in Smash pretty regularly. If you could bring them with you into the multiplayer modes like Smash Tour and Events it would be even better, but the implementation is pretty fun. I also really want a Marth figure but I'm not willing to pay scalpers through the nose, so whatevs.

Man so jealous of folks whose stores are already putting these out. Hopefully getting a Little Mac in the next day or two isn't impossible. Its the only one from wave 2 I want.
I don't shop their website, so I'm not qualified to answer that question. I just know mine did not have much inventory yesterday, but they had at least five of every amiibo in wave one today around lunch.

Which is funny, because Strongbad is so America, it hurts. There's lots of Gaffers from other regions up in here though, easy to get confused.

Hey for anyone that doesn't like that Link is looking down like he is jumping across a puddle or something, the warped sword trick works on that as well.
Man I was just at Walmart (that is what Big W stands for right?) and they had nothing at all. Asked them to check in the back and they said no amiibos in the back either.
Damn itttt I got my hopes up for nothing. =(

I've heard a "warp trick" referenced a few times, I assume it's some safe and effective way to fix minor issues like Link's sword being bent? A) What's the trick? and B) Does it work to get Samus to stand up straight?

I'm pretty satisfied with who I've got from Wave 1. I'm keeping an eye out for a nice Peach, but she's pretty common so I'm in no rush. If my wife sees Marth tomorrow, she might convince me to get him since she knows he's rare... I'd open him though so what's the point? lol
Anyway, I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I'm going to be at Target first thing in the morning.

1. Put a bowl of water in the microwave till it boils(3-4 min)
2.Get a second bowl filled with ice water
3. Dip warped area into boiling water for 20 seconds.
4. Straighten the warped area
5. Hold in ice water for 30 seconds.
6. Repeat once.
It should help straighten Samus up.
Obviously don't submerge the base!
I fixed my Link's head, sword and scabbard with this trick.

Be careful not to break the head off. One of my Links is really wobbly at the neck. But superglue lol.
Yup, gloves are off on Zelda, Diddy, and Little Mac. Local EB Games had a big box half full of Zelda, a third full of Little Mac, and a couple Diddy Kong.
Grabbed all 3. Best looking Diddy eyes I've seen on mine, too. One Little Mac was damaged and had the face part falling off. Thought about buying it but I can't be bothered. Trinity Commons in Brampton if anyone wants it.

Yeah you need to be careful with these,
stuck the head in for about 40 just to give it that extra softness incase the head/neck was just glued in.
Wish the hat was soft rubber/plastic as well.

Check today in VA, no Amiibos at all. Not even any space on the shelf. Website also doesn't acknowledge them. I'd say safe pass.
Just called my nearest retailer and he told me he just received some Fox/Samus/Pikachu/DK/Mario/Link...
No Marth/Villager...but fuck it, count on me to buy Fox/Samus this time!

-The three Samus figurines were drunk.
-All the Fox figurines had painting imperfection that bugged me enough to not buy one.
Bought NES Remix instead, fuck this shit for a while.

She's in wave 3 everywhere. You can't find her in NA because she's exclusive to Target
