That's what it told me too, but then I got an email from the shortly after saying the date was changed to 12/30.

I reserved Captain Falcon, in-store, at my local Gamestop on Monday. Then later I realized I wanted Little Mac too, so I placed a Gamestop.com order with in-store pickup. I'm crossing my fingers that both come through.

How is everyone else's Target's, Walmarts, and Toys R Us' putting these up already. I swear I've been to multiple places of those stores and its all nope havent gotten any in yet.

LOL this is hilarious. Its basically me earlier this year with my gaming purchases. I went overboard and put too much on my credit card. Now I've laid out the first 6 months of 2015 in such a way that I play through my backlog as if they were releases just coming out. It really started to stack up and I realized I have a new game to play like every week, basically.
Then you start thinking about things like buying a house, having kids, etc. and all this other shit like dumb toys and videogames seems so ridiculous. I think about people fighting to budget in groceries every week or pay for whatever "real world" shit they have going on and I feel like a total wanker with my Little Mac amiibo and whatnot.
Nothing wrong with having some fun, but I think its easy to get carried away with this shit and eventually we can all use a good reality check. I know I recently started to make thankful statements in my prayers before dinner and I honestly think it helps to have an outloud reminder of everything I'm so lucky to have. Lots of other people out there will never be lucky enough to have money to piss away on amiibos. Gotta try and remember that.
Haha thanks guys. I was planning on collecting only the characters I like but over a sensible amount of time but when you hear about shortages and discontinuations a primal instinct kicks in! (I am still only getting the ones I want though, not cherry picking rare ones for the sake of it). I'm the same with Hot Toys unfortunately.
I'm lucky to have an understanding wife!

Bought a Kirby and Starfox today.
I don't even like them but I love the idea of having my friends mains as amiibos.
Ugh! Count me in your group. I re-joined the Wii U side last week and got a Mario amiibo to go along Smash.
Then a Wii Fit Trainer because I like her character in Smash (though use the male alt, would buy one in a heatbeat).
On Sunday got a Link because Hyrule Warriors is so full of nostalgia and a Samus because...why not, buy one get one 40% off!
And later today I'll have Fox, Pikachu and Kirby too.
:/...now I want Zelda, Little Mac and Peach too.

People don't realize they can get it from those sites or they don't know they're region free, or just stupid?
I already paid Japanese price for Marth, won't get Villager or WFT for $30. I'm moving onto Wave 3 now.

Also minor differences makes all the difference for collectors. US ones are harder to obtain and therefore more valuable.
