I need some guidance on what to do with my figures. I've never been a collector but these things have the hooks in me for some reason. I've bought every single one so far (plus doubles of Villager and Little Mac because I *knew* I'd want to at least unbox those and knew they'd be rare. Have doubles ordered of Mega Man and Shulk for the same reason)
Do I keep the rest boxed??? Only unbox the common ones to save value??? ahhh!!!!!
I'm leaning towards unboxing all of them except WFT/Marth/Villager(double)/Little Mac(double))/Diddy

The tri state doesn't have much. I've looked in Ohio, but skipped out on going down to Florence today. I've got all but the rares, but no wave 2 is out yet. No pegs even, minus one meijer. I even drove up to Dayton, no rares but TRU has everything else.

Is it sad that I forgot I preordered Pit? I guess the only one I need to preorder from Wave 2 is Luigi... and I still need Peach/DK but they're easy. Wave 3 I still need 6 more but I have the exclusives (minus Rosalina) done so far at least.

Here is my quickly thrown together Amiibo/Nintendo figure shelf. Plenty of room for expansion! Zelda and Luigi are coming from Amazon. Need to find Pit and Falcon!

Took a trip around my area earlier tonight. (WI) Target didn't have any wave two out, but had pegs labeled for all 6 figures. 2 pegs each for Zelda, Diddy Kong, Cap. Falcon, and Luigi. 1 peg each for Lil Mac and Pit. They didn't know when they were getting them in.
Toys R Us had empty pegs without tags, the cashier in the electronics dept thought they would be out on shelves tomorrow. Didn't know if they had all six or just Zelda, Diddy, and Lil Mac.
Gamestop hadn't received them yet, but would be putting them out as soon as they got them.
Best Buy had 8 Zeldas mixed in with the Link's, and 1 Diddy mixed in with the D.K.'s. I tried to purchase one of each, and they came up as "not available for sale." I pressed the issue a little bit, and the manager told me they were street dated for Sunday in their system. Sadly, they were so clueless they went and actually removed ALL the Amiibos from the display. Including wave one. I was going to correct them, but I played dumb while trying to get them to override the lockout... so I just let them remove all of them.
So TRU thinks the release is tomorrow, Gamestop thinks its as soon as they get them in, Best Buy's system says Sunday, and Target had no clue. What a mess.

Is anyone else disappointed you can't use these in online matches? Would be nice when I need to take a break for a pee in online 1v1's with my buddy and keep him entertained by having him face my amiibo. =/

I lucked out big time tonight and found what was probably the last Wii Fit Trainer in my town.
Also, my Target had a whole bunch of Zeldas and Little Macs out tonight, but when I took them to the register, I was stopped by the stupid computer system
Employees told me I couldn't buy them until the 14th, and the last I saw of them was when they piled the whole stock in their arms and carried them back to the back room.

it was a dark time in my life when i received that and it is a gift so i display it. and she just has big eyes. figure shelf. all that jazz. she will be replaced with captain falcon.
I love how retailers still put up those in exhibition like it's no big deal
saw one of those so i just grab it lol
Most of the Zelda figures I've seen look to have retained a relatively high level of detail, especially compared to the Peaches. If they had gone with a simpler design for the braids; it'd be among the better human amiibos.
