Trying to pre-order Lucario on TRU but apparently I can't do in store pick up. Am I doing something wrong? I don't want to a) not see the figure before I buy it, and b) leave it to the destructive hands of the TRU shipping department.
 
So why didn't they print Diddy's eyes like they're supposed to be?

I wonder if they couldn't print them straight enough so they all ended up looking crosseyed.

Traveled around central Michigan today. Target, Wal-Mart, GameStop and no wave two of anything. I'm not gonna be able to sleep well until the Captain is on my shelf.

At first I had DK, Fox and Yoshi at Toys r Us.

Then I saw ONE Little Mac behind the counter and nowhere else, and that clerk was trying so hard to bullshit me that I almost wanted to tell him.

I said ''Forget Yoshi, I'm taking that Little Mac right there''

Clerk: ''Are you sure? Yoshi are discontinued and they will hard as hell to find soon, while I'm getting a PALLET of Little Mac next week.''

Me: ''No I'll take Little Mac anyway, but thanks for sharing the info (Fuck you, I'm not as dumb as you think, man.)''

So yeah, 10$/Amiibo is a fucking great deal and I feel great! :lol

The TRU near me had plenty of Diddys and five or six each of Little Mac and Zelda out on the shelves. Of the non-discontinued first wave, the only one they didn't have is Fox.

Just from casual observation during the past couple of weeks of Christmas shopping, I think Fox is getting a lot harder to find.
 
I went to my local TRU. I picked up Diddy Kong (cancelled my Target order for that one) and picked up Zelda (cancelled that from my best buy order)... No Little Mac's and the employee just checked the website, didnt go in the back. So I said screw it. And just picked up those two.

Still got Captain Falcon, Little Mac, and Pit on order from Best Buy

lmao a pallet of little mac... they'll be lucky to get a pallet of amiibo altogether.
 
Is Toys'R'Us the only viable option for Wave 2 amiibos in America today? I didn't see any indication new ones were out at Target.
 
Saw Little Mac and Zelda at Toys R Us. The little Mac amiibo is amazing, Zelda is pretty good too. No Diddy though
Decided not to buy them, hope i can go to Best Buy on Sunday to get them (TRU sells them for 13.99, i can get them each at BB for 10.40)
 
So I checked Target's website this morning and one of the stores about 30 miles away was showing Villager in stock. I didn't want to drive 30 miles for nothing but I reasoned I could check the nearest Toys R Us on the way back, 20 miles away.

They were out of course at Target. They had 3 amiibos total in the whole damn store,1 peach, 1 Mario, 1 Samus. When I asked about the Villager amiibo the guy laughed at me. Ok I deserved that. Then he went on about how he heard Nintendo is going to eventually bring them back. I told him it was conflicting information and I wasn't so confident. Either way, I left a sad panda. Gamestop was right there so I went in, and they had the ones you would expect, but thy were running out.

Stopped at Toys R Us on the way back. They had a lot of amiibos, including at least 15 Little Mac and 10 Diddy. I bought 2 little mac and one diddy. No 40 percent off at that store. I'm thinking I'll sell the extra little mac to recover much of the money I spent.

So that's my little amiibo adventure this morning. And with that I am done with Amiibos for a while. My collection:

I want this moron to say thats why he bought 4 of each. Im well aware the scarcity of some figures and I think people will be surprised when They cant offload their 10 Diddy Kongs because they are everywhere.

I see these pics and already know that those three won't be nearly as limited as perceived. Once the frenzy dies down a bit the scalpers will bail and we'll get decently priced Amiibos again.

They are available many places throughout Europe. Even Amazon France has Villager and Marth available online, so they're definitely not that rare in Europe
 
Went to Toys R Us and BB today. None of the new ones at Best Buy, but TRU had Zelda and Diddy Kong, but no Little Mac so I snapped those two up. I did get a little mac ordered off of gohastings though so there's that.
 
Anyone can confirm that some Amiibos from wave 2 started showing in Europe?

(mostly interested in France, but any news are interesting)
 
Depends on the store. I work at GameStop and during Wave 1 we relieved a box of two Villagers and that's as it in the box. The same goes for some other figures.

Maybe Toys R Us is different with shipment quantity but it's definitely possible.
 
Just got back from Toys R Us. One hour after opening and they had 0 Diddy, 3 Little Mac, and 5 Full pegs of Zelda. The Little Macs that were left all had minor problems with either the paint or the box.
 
So I preordered Little Mac from Amazon like two months ago and I've yet to see a shipping notification at all. Should I be worried?
 
This is probably stupid, but I saw a Peach that had a broken stand in a sealed box. Is that a manufacturer's defect that would be worth anything? Peach just jangles around inside the box.

In my opinion, no. Because all the parts are in the box, it's just broken. Could have been someone dropping it off the shelf or what not.

It's when it's missing parts, or looks different then anything else, that's when it becomes rare I think. Just my opinion

Same here. Glad I pre-ordered, since they ONLY have enough for orders. Apparently the others are still dated in their system for the 31st >_>

Not sure what Nintendo is doing, since distribution is kind of everywhere. Sounds like these 3 are getting shipped to most places today, but some Falcons, Pits, Luigis made it to other stores. I have no idea... WTF Nintendo? Stuff already got out early this week too, so yeah I have no idea :/
 
Preordered Megaman and Little Mac. Those are the only ones I have any interest in. And maybe Bowser.
Edit: maybe not Bowser. I'm having hard time justifying buying one at full price and I got LM and MM for €10 a pop.

so angels work at my toys r us. None of the new ones were out. My buddy and I asked them very sweetly if they could check. They had plenty of Zelda and 4 each of Mac and Diddy. We grabbed 2 each. One to unbox and play and one to keep. My daughter is going to be so happy. Zelda is beautiful. I can't believe how little there are it is sad. These are going to be just as bad if not worse than wave 1 and the sad thing iS kids are going to miss out on a fav.

Keep refreshing ebgames.ca - I've seen Diddy drop in and out of stock 3 times in the last day. I failed to grab him the first two times but finally secured a order for one today around lunch. It then immediately showed Out of Stock.
 
Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Gamestop, had nothing. Gamestop even seemed confused as to when the new stuff might be in.

Also the 2 guys at Gamestop talked about how they planned to grab any of the rares for sale on Ebay.
