Not that there was really any doubt, but… Rosalina & Luma Amiibo will be exclusive to Target.

The confirmation comes from Target’s in-house system (picture via Andis1 at /r/Amiibo) . It, like all other wave 3 amiibos, have a tentative date of 2/1. This at least confirms the DPCI # which may be helpful for tracking her availability at a later date.

No online pre-orders have been posted yet, but I expect them to be soon.

Guys I am literally in the mall where it has Toys "R" Us and GameStop I found Mac diddy and Zelda should I buy them are they wear help out please
 
I want to pre-order Shulk but hesitating because at check-out Gamestop says "Once submitted, your order cannot be modified." Does Gamestop not allow you to cancel pre-orders?

You can cancel, they are referring to a change of address or form of payment.

I think you have to call them or e-mail them or some bull. There's no "cancel" button when you look up your pending order on their website.
 
I preordered all the Amiibos I wanted from the 3rd wave.
Ike, Shulk, Sheik, and Toon Link.

Did it in store at gamestop however I had them put a note on the orders to hold for more then 48 hours. Going to see what happens since I won't be getting them until March since i'll be out for work. Will be interesting.
 
I went to my local gamestop and didn't see any wave 2. I asked and he said they were sold out. They apparently only received 2 Zelda and 2 Little Mac's. It is a small town but still surprised there weren't more Zelda's.

I asked and heard the same thing. They got some to cover preorders and that was it.
However a other store said they won't get them in until next week. So i'd just poke around when you can next week.
 
Whelp grabbed my first one along with a copy of Smash for me and my siblings! Already want to grab more. On the list is Mario, Link, Megaman, and Sonic. Looks like I should pre-order the last two since chances of grabbing it by just walking in seem slim. Although not sure if I'm feeling that Sonic yet something looks off.

Decided to order Ike, Bowser, Megaman and Toon Link from best buy with my free expedited shipping to avoid this day 1 BS

I still want Fox, Link, Mario, Kirby and Captain Falcon.

Already have DK, Diddy and Mac
 
If you're in the DFW area, the TRU on MacArthur and 635 had 4 Diddy left and a few Zelda. Nothing else from wave 2. The Target across the street have nothing from wave 2.
 
TRU in Portland had lots of Zelda and 4-5 Diddy's and Little Macs. Also picked up Smash bros for 40% off for my bro, since I was grabbing Hyrule Warriors anyway.
 
Hoping my ones from Best Buy ship this weekend. Would be swell to have them before Christmas

edit: Just as I say that I get an e-mail saying it's December 19th for Little Mac.

Ugh I might just go out and get them this weekend and cancel my preorder :(
 
They definitely picked the worst pose possible for Samus, one of their most detailed characters. I've looked at upwards of 30 Samus figures, every one had a bad paint job or slanted pose, so I had to settle for one with a "meh" paint job.

Got a Zelda and Link too, and they both have good paint jobs, so that's good. No Marth or Villager I'm any store in my area though, and no Diddy or Little Mac either. Got Smash too, finally. I'll have to hook up with some of you guys and play it sometime soon!
 
A friend of mine in Dallas grabbed Little Mac for me so I'm just on the hunt for Zelda which is good since that's less money I have to pay now. Hopefully I can grab Falcon and Pit when the drop but I'll be happy with just Zelda, Mac, and Pit from this wave. Wave 3 is going to be hell though.

My first thought is to move the "amiibo | Community Thread" to gaming, merge it with this one, and rename to |OT|. Because Robin64's opening post has the earlier timestamp, it would be the opening post of the merged thread.

Thoughts?
 
Couldn't find Little Mac anywhere today.... I still have it on pre-order from Best Buy online, but it's a solo order cause I found Diddy and Zelda and cancelled those today.

I'm worried about the shipping.

Zelda was the only Wave 2 amiibo I saw today, but they're getting more of Wave 2 tomorrow early in the morning.

Gonna take a crack at it early in the morning.
 
I recieved Mario as a gift and bought Link this week.. I told myself I wouldn't buy one of these.
But the packaging is so nice...I really don't know if I want to open them, haha. I feel ridiculous.
 
So is Captain Falcon out yet? I'm pretty sure Wave 2 is out but Best Buy's site lists the release date as December 30th. I don't wanna miss my chance to pick it up since he'll probably be discontinued before long.
 
A good day today. My gf scored me a Lucario pre-order while I was at work. Went to my local TRU and they were well-stocked with all characters except the infamous 3. Had the least of Diddy, but still 3 or so when I was there an hour ago. Good stock of Little Mac and tons of Fox.

Took me forever to find a Link with a somewhat straight sword. But I walked out with 4 for a decent price since they are doing the B1G1 40% off.

if someone has a moment can they just list the "rare" characters for me.

Alright, I just merged the thread in Gaming Community with the one on Gaming Discussion and renamed it. Robin64's opening post seems informative enough (moreso than the one that was here) although I'm not too familiar with the product. Decided against the |OT| label because that can imply a certain set of rules.

Any other questions let me know.
 
Just stopped at my Toys "R" Us again tonight and all of the Little Mac's were gone. There were still plenty of Zelda's but they only had one Diddy Kong left. These things are moving fast. If you want one for yourself, don't hesitate.

The only 3 "discontinued" (which they might reprint - who knows) are Marth, Villager and Wii Fit Trainer.

I really don't know that many others are that hard to find. Fox seems to be rare in some areas, and Diddy Kong didn't seem to ship much in this latest wave. Certain stores like Walmart are just shit for Amiibos. Toys R Us seems to have the greatest selection at least in my area.
