The last time I went looking for Villager at a Target, I asked the employee if he could check if other locations had him. He said one about 15 miles away had 4 left in the store. When I got there, there were none and they said they were all sold out.
I went to the Target by the Cardinal's stadium in Glendale. Specifically 93rd ave and Northern. They had 3 amiibos total in the whole store.
Nope, this Target about 20 miles west of Pittsburgh. Won't lie, I have considered going back to see if anyone hid a villager and forgot about it...searching the entire store, top to bottom...opening luggage, looking behind everything...then I realized it's just a toy.

I ordered Meta Knight on Wednesday. There was a pending charge in my bank account on Thursday and then it was gone on Friday. So I think they put a "hold" on your card (much like a hotel or rental car would do) to make sure it's a legit card and then actually charge you when it ships.

I managed to score a store pick up on mac and diddy today. I'm debating if zelda is worth getting also, she's not a character I wanted but maybe she'll be in short supply also soon.

Olimar? Yes. Pac-Man? My money is in that he will be widely available.
Pac-man will be well stocked. He's a widely recognizable gaming icon plus he's still actively pushed by Namco with a cartoon and games.

I think Nintendo has either threw a middle finger to Atlanta or we have some overpowered scalpers. No Wave 2 anything. Not at Target. Not at Walmart. Not at Gamestop. Nada at Best Buy. Just wondering if the employees are lying about the availability here
In va gamestop told me that their was a delay with the orders and only part of wave 2 was available. I think Nintendo has a middle finger to everybody as it seems they aren't evening creating a decent supply for these despite them selling really well.

I doubt it. I haven't heard of any retailers that have received shipments of those figures yet. Most US retailers only received Zelda, Little Mac and Diddy Kong earlier this week, and due to lack of communication and clarity about the release date, some put them out for sale right away, and some held for release on the 12th or tomorrow, the 14th.

ROB is going to be the only amiibo with alt colors, since he has different default colors between Japan and America
I only have the few of these that I wanted to get for our game room but I have to say now that I've used them that these things are pretty crappy in terms of construction AND function. I just don't see the point of buying any more of these things.
If you still have to have them, more power to you. But as a heads up for people wanting to know what the fuss is about: these things kinda suck.

I guess you have a point. All these rumors are just making me paranoid, I'm going to have to go on pre-order sprees on a moments notice.

Yep. I'm in the Metro Atlanta area. Same here. Going to another Target tomorrow morning.
It annoys me that for the most part the characters are to scale but then you have Bowser, King Dedede, and DK looking like they got a mini mushroom. I mean it looks like Ike and Rosalina are going to be tall as hell and I bet Ganondorf will be too. The bulky big characters are getting ripped off.
With Disney Infinity figures characters like Baymax or Wreck it Ralph are much bigger then someone like Dash, or Venellope. Bowser and Pikachu look like they'll be around the same size. :/

I have my morning all mapped out tomorrow for amiibo hunting. Hitting up 3 Wal-Marts before Target opens, then hitting 2 Targets when the doors open, then hitting Toys'R'Us followed by Best Buy and ending the hunt at Salvation Army and Goodwill to see if I can find a decent CRT TV.

Checked a second Wal Mart and a second Gamestop today and I still have yet to see a single Wave 2 figurine. I have all but Luigi pre-ordered but would like to pick up a few extras.
Yeah, I've got a few other non-rare ones I still need to pick up as gifts so it won't be a waste of time. :lol

I just hope that more games on the 3DS will end up supporting them as well. All games should have some kind of special unlock now and make them more than collectors trophys

I honestly thought I would be able to pick them up later on down the road for the collection but looks like we now HAVE to pre order the ones we want or think will be hard to find.
