lol...just wondering the same thing...A Target rep, and the Best Buy website both referenced the 19th I believe which would be Friday.
Also side question.....For all the Amiibo fans, are you keeping yours in box or taking them out of the box?????????????
Personally, I'm taking mine out of the box as worrying about box quality is too stressful, and there are too many variables when dealing with companies like Amazon, and also, out of the box is easier for display and they are functional.

Eh, DK is a dime a dozen around here (South East USA). Fox is dwindling in availability but still not hard to find.

At Best Buy when picking up my wave 1 preorders, they almost gave me a 2nd Mario instead of Marth. I complained and they explained Marth didn't arrive yet so my preorder will just stay in place for a bit longer until it arrives, but I almost walked out with a 2nd Mario instead of a Marth. :/

When I talked to the lady at Target about Diddy Kong, she saw one Donkey Kong there and thought it was the same figure. Kinda explains everything. :/

U talked me into it. Just got back , they had alot of zeldas and i looked at a few and one had a weird big forehead going on. They had no litte mac or diddy, good luck to all trying to find them. Stopped at target too and they had nothing.

TRU online still has it if you're still looking. I saw a bunch around here the other day, but then again, these things tend to disappear quickly. Could all be gone by now.

Went to a target in ontario. Only Samus, Zelda, Peach and Yoshi left. Only 2 Yoshis as well.
My assumption is that they will be putting all 6 out on Friday. Thy are already in this week's weekly ad stating "available Friday" (the 19th).
Yeah you can, I've done it twice already with these amiibos. Just click the order details and there is a red button for canceling. Not sure if that includes out of country orders. Or if there is a time limit for canceling.
All ones that were in the ad saying available Friday have been pushed to the 30th. At my work we get phone calls sometimes about in stock items so we have to know corrections like this, especially with ads.
ToysRus finally shipped Little Mac. And I received my Diddy Kong and "Zelda" figurines. And by Zelda I mean another Diddy Kong. I had to call the 1-800 number and now they are sending Zelda for free with no additional charge.... At least I feel good about the order. xD I just sort of wish I accidentally received 2 Little Macs instead.
Now to see which of my friends didn't buy Diddy yet and see if they want him for free. Merry Christmas! XD

Yes it's worth it.
I preordered it with GameStop and I will with EB Games as soon as possible. At this point I pretty much preorder the ones I expect to be right on at least two different sites.

no, but once the scalper ball got rolling it was pretty hard to get until the expensive reprint. Amiibos are already hot, so expect it to be gone quick.
Plus I'm sure Gamestop is going to be tempted to sell Shulk used for $40 or something.
It's the latter. Our ad states that the street date for the new figures are on Friday, but it was poorly communicated to employees who are operating on the street date in our stock system, which was yesterday.

Well TRU is getting a much larger shipment of these figures than any other store. Explains why they cost 1 dollar more. They probably knew their competitors would have low supply and people will turn to them. They were right lol
