Went to my local Target after it said they had it in stock online. The guy told me Little Mac wouldn't show up on his scanner, gave him the UPC and he said there was one left, checked the back and bam. Now to search for Diddy Kong ;_;
Does that include Zelda, Little Mac, and Diddy? Because the ad only has pictures of Zelda, Diddy, and Luigi saying they will be there Friday. But I have Little Mac available for pick up on Friday, according to the email I received telling me when to pick it up. For Captain Falcon, I have an email saying the 30th.
By any chance do you have a list of UPC for amiibos? I´ve been looking for one.

I also went after the website showed my target had diddy in stock, but they said they had one on hand but no location in the backroom. I wondered who had it while walking around the store.
Went around to 25 different stores today to see what I can find (Canada). Finally got the last Little Mac at an EB Games. Girl there said everyone at the store had been really eager to get them, and they themselves had been lining up at Toys R Us at 6AM to get Wave 2 because they weren't anticipating many at their store 
. She said when she put out Wave 2 this morning they were literally bought within the minute. The Mac I got she found hiding in the backroom a few minutes before I got there.
Went to the Target next door, they had 3 Macs, and 2 Diddys. I picked up an extra Mac and 2 of the Diddys, not even asking much more for them, just enough to cover the huge amount of gas I spent driving around today.
Curiously enough, they had hooks out for Luigi. I asked the guy about them, he said they were told to set the hooks up, but the Nintendo rep was just in today and told them not to expect Wave 2B to be in for maybe 2 weeks, despite relase date for them being listed as 12/12/2014.

My email just said Luigi and the others in the ad, but it pinpointed Luigi front and center, so it may be him just getting the brunt of the shortage. For whatever reason.

So nowhere in my neighborhood got the Wave 2 figures unless it was pre-ordered. My Target is only carrying Luigi but thats about it. Just great.
Replace "my mom" with my "my big sis" and Target with other store and that's exactly me.
This amiibo stuff is getting scary.

Well, shipping is already $15 from the states on Gamestop's site. Then there is exchange rate.
I just put in an order for one. I will cancel if EB Canada can deliver.

I swear, Amiibo's are evil. The drive. The hunt for the rares. The camping out of retail stores to actually look for the "best" one instead of preordering and hoping you don't get a shoddy paint job.
Yeah my friend picked me up little Mac and he has a black paint splotch on the back :-(. Oh well. I should be getting one in the mail too.
I don't mind /that/. It's more the FedEx-style "lol surprise, 80% of your price in 'handling fees' because we're pricks" thing I'm worried about. I had a Kickstarter board game get damaged in transit via USPS, so they re-sent it with FedEx as a rush, and FedEx stuck me with 30% in bullshit fees, basically. I just don't want THAT crap.
I put in an order for three -- one to play with, one sealed, and one for a friend -- which makes the shipping easier to swallow, but would definitely love to get it domestic instead.

Well the becoming scarcity of Zelda convinced me to order her from Amazon. Probably won't get it until next month. Went ahead and got Luigi there as well. I honestly didn't think I needed to worry about that one but I'm guessing he'll be hard to find at least for a short while anyway.

Scale's not a huge problem considering it's supposed the represent the in-game trophies, not the actual characters. Maybe if they made larger figures for characters like Bowser ala Skylanders Giants, but then you'd be paying ~$20 for them.
Yeah but we would never get Ridley then.

My Toys R Us is packed with Zelda. Like, an entire wall of Zelda. Little Mac and Diddy Kong are the hard ones to find. I picked up Zelda, Diddy, and Mac at GameStop after preordering them. They had all of their preorders met.

So far I have all 15 released and 3 more preordered from wave 2. All of Wave 3 preordered except Rose and Lucario
I was happy to see that Shulk was back online to presale at Gamestop so I got that today along with metaknight from BB.
I better be able to get my hands on Rose and Lucario as I am willing to pay up to $30 for each if I can't get them at the ground floor.

welcome to the past week of my visits to the internet. Once I had them actually-ordered for 24 hours before saying "no this is bizarre i shouldn't do this" and cancelling them. Now I'm considering doing it over again.
It's why I hesitated and didn't order the adapter when GameStop reopened orders. I hate dealing with UPS. Hope EB Games stocks both for the new year.

My Mac showed up today among other things. I have all amiibos pre-ordered except for 1 and slowly but surely they are all trickling in.
My 3 from TRU I ordered online came in.
Getting ready to open them and add them to the collection, good thing I don't care about packaging though- Diddy is a bit messed. Up to 13/15 now, Marth & Villager are supposed to ship on Wednesday hopefully to make it 15/15.
Was out Xmas shopping tonight and went to Best Buy, Target and Gamestop. No wave 2, no rares of wave 1, but had all the commons of wave 1- though Fox & Samus were low. Midwest Ohio checking in here.
