Then I got this insane urge to play with my Samus to see if I could get her to learn somethings from me. And low and behold after about two hours of training it started using my combos.

I kinda want to start over with her though. She has a bad habit of trying to dodge everything. Granted that she is very good at dodging most of everything. I just want her to be more offensive. Is there a way to restart your amiibo?

I can't confirm but I would assume there is a way to clear your Smashbros Amiibo data through smash?
 
Another broken street date in France.

Fnac Nancy and Fnac Paris.

Diddy, Luigi, Captain falcon, Zelda are now released in the store, but the street date was 12/19/2014...
I've seen a lot of Luigi, Zelda and Diddy. Just few captain falcon.

Just Little Mac and Pit are not released at now.

Anyone else have a paint splotch on their figures? I got a little Mac where there is a black paint splotch on his back (a friend picked it up for me and didn't notice).

I have another on order from Best Buy so not too worried. Did not see any at the Toys R Us by me. Also don't remember seeing any Diddy Kongs there. Tons of zelda, fox, DK, Mario, Peach, Link, etc.

My Pikachu has a hard yellow paint bump on his belly that I'm too afraid to scratch off.
 
Should I trust GameStop/EB Games? I'd prefer to cancel my GameStop preorder and keep the other one but I'm not sure if I can trust them.

I kinda wish they textured her hair a bit more. I was thinking of trying to do it myself with an exacto but I have absolutely no experience with that kind of stuff

when is part 2 of wave 2 supposed to release?
 
I think the reason why they have that many Zelda is because they want to have as many female characters as possible since I'm sure girls will like them. No idea why they discontinued Wii Fit Trainer though.

I think Dedede will probably be the rarest. It'll probably be a Wii Fit Trainer situation though where the demand isn't that high since nobody cares about him as a character.

There's a new Kirby game coming next year though so I figure Kirby/Meta Knight/Dedede might be supported a bit more than Ike and Shulk.
 
I got a txt from the wife whilst I was at work today. She was doing Xmas wrapping and asked which Amiibo is for which kid. I felt a bit stupid when I replied 'none of them ones are for the kids, they're mine'. She had stumbled onto my stash lol.
 
I've got a level on my shelf dedicated to these, and a nice 3 tier stand to place all of them on, but nothing to cover them with to keep dust out.

Any recommendations or advice on where to buy a plastic cover or case for displaying figures? I've never really collected figures for display before this...

Lol, almost the same here. I got one for each kid plus one for me. I would have bought my wife another one, but afaik, they still don't make a Toad one.

I think Amazon is all screwed up. I preordered Mac, Falcon and Pit on the day they went up for preorders, and only Mac has shipped so far, with no estimated ship date for the other two.
 
Just pre-ordered 2 Shulks... Toon Link, Shiek. Girlfriend is getting me Zelda and Captain Falcon for Christmas, plan on pre-ordering Ike but Amazon didn't have him, and gonna buy my girlfriend a Rosalina since that's her favorite character. I already have a Link and Samus. These things kinda rule.

I generally want to collect more of the niche figures however I worry that those will not get as much functionality in different games. Like I can't see Mario Kart 8 adding a Shulk racing suit. I should probably just buy a Mario or something at some point since I'm sure lots of different games will use him.
 
Wonder when we'll start to see non-smash amiibos. I'd love if, at the very least, Yoshi Wooly World had a Yarn Yoshi Amiibo as an alternative to the Smash Yoshi and for Kirby to have a Clay Kirby alternative too.
 
Man, we really got make a PDA thread or insert it into the OP or something so people will be able to see what the freak is going on. There seems to be a lot of confusion going on.

-Rosalina is NOT available for pre-order yet. So fear not... for now.
-In America, there is massive inconsistency with the Wave 2 releases:
1) Little Mac, Diddy Kong, and Zelda should be purchasable at most retailers at this point. Whether they are available or not, however, will vary.
2) Captain Falcon, Luigi, and Pit HAVE NOT been launched yet. Their date is still set, it seems, for 12/30. You cannot find them in the wild, so do not worry when you see they haven't shipped yet. You still got a couple weeks (maybe, nobody knows for sure yet)!
 
So bored at work, I ran across an E3 IGN interview that I missed about amiibos that I found pretty interesting. Most of the info. is to be expected though.

Miyamoto: So for example, if you look at the Mario amiibo from the Smash Bros. line, it's the Smash Bros. Mario, which is a little bit different from the normal Mario. We'll probably prepare a more standard Mario family line of amiibo characters that includes your typical Mario designs and typical Peach designs. Those figures would be the ones you use with Mario Party 10 or potentially with Mario Kart 8.

Pretty much confirms multiple amiibo for popular characters. I would love a Yarn Yoshi for Yoshi's Wooly World.

Miyamoto: As for Star Fox, we haven't decided what will happen when you put the Smash Bros. Star Fox amiibo on the GamePad yet, but I do want an Arwing amiibo (laughs).

Pretty obvious this was getting amiibo support but I was still happy to see this. Hard to speculate on what kind of support without seeing the game, but personally I hope it's more substantial than unlockable costumes.

I have Link, diddy, Fox, Yoshi and Mario on hand then I have metaknight, mac, sonic, megaman, luigi and bowser on preorder

I still want Rosalina and dedede and whatever else in the future.
