Dammit AmiiboGAF. I'm still missing C. Falcon, Little Mac, Pit thanks to Target cancelling my order and my store hasn't even seen them in casepacks. And TRU cancelled my Lucario and Sonic so I don't see those happening.
I'm worried I'm not going to have a complete collection and I can't wait til BB cancels my Meta Knight and Target cancels my Rosalina.

Amiibos are totally identical across regions, even the bottoms of the bases are the same. The only difference is the packaging

I can practically guarantee at least one of them is into Warhammer or D&D or something and collects figurines. Not in the military but I've heard tell from several cop and vet friends that there's at least one in every unit

Link gets you the spinner as a weapon. I think Zelda does something special too. The rest you can scan 5 per day and get rupees or materials or a weapon.
Link unlocks the Spinner weapon from Twilight Princess. Everyone else gets you a random
gift once a day.
Link/Toon Link: Spinner weapon unlock
Zelda/Shiek: random weapon rated 3 stars or higher (once per day)
Everyone else: random weapon 3 stars or lower, rupees, or crafting material (once per day)
Whenever Ganondorf comes out he'll probably do the same thing that Zelda/Shiek do... unless they have something special planned for him
For me, it's the "complete set" aspect. I don't just want the rares, I want to be able to say I have the set. I wouldn't just want the rares/uncommons if I was doing it for CCGs or hockey cards or something.

That's what I think too but at the same time.. I want my Super Smash Bros collection to be done as fast as possible.
My guess is that the smash waves will be done by the time Mario Party 10 comes out as it would be the only upcoming game with a large enough character roster to have multiple waves.
Smash is a tough one to start with since it has EVERY character pretty much. So duplicates from this point forth are guaranteed. It will be the same character but in a different pose and base.
Is there a cap on these per day? I thought I remembered reading you could only scan 5 a day, so that's all I was doing... but if there isn't, well, time to break out the rest...

Would be a bit late since the earliest would be March. 4 months after a games release seems unlikely.
They would likely just be a Toad and Toadette anyways so it could be integrated into Wave 4
Are they ranked by rarity? Cuz the ones at the bottom would seem hard to find.
They're ordered by character reveal order across the Smash series. For example, the Smash 64 chars are organized by the order they were in in the 64 intro, the Brawl and 4 characters are ordered after their reveals for their respective games, etc. The Smash Bros website is organized the same way.
