Don't worry guys, I pretty much live on Amazon and routinely check on Amiibo for everyone. If I see that it comes up again I'll let you know.

This won't be the last time for Pit either; Captain Falcon has shown up as in stock maybe 4 times or so on the site.

It actually just let me order I had trouble at first placing an order but then I just kept refreshing and allow me to do in order.
 
Pitt is all I need to complete my set. F*cking Best Buy didn't get my figure in and I pre-purchased it once it became available.

I really hope this doesn't happen with the wave 3 figures. Damn Gamer Coupon Unlocked.
 
Gamestop's website said Captain Falcon was "In Stock" and "Low Stock" at several stores here in Burbank. Raced over to the In Stock store, they said its a website glitch and none of the Burbanm/Glendale stores actually got any.

Meanwhile Target had 3 Diddy Kongs but apparently he's not as rare and I'm not really interested in flipping them unless I find a surplus of hard to find figures, so I left 'em hanging. Mistake?

I really just want Pit ;__;

Not a mistake. You'll be lucky to get $20 for Diddy, maybe less after ebay fees and shipping cost. I can buy it right now from Amazon.

In a month or two, maybe...

Diddy is officially 3x more common than Luigi where I'm at...obviously it doesn't mean anything, but I would guess he's not worth investing in if you're into that thing.
 
Went by another Wal Mart and Gamestop today, found nothing useful.

I know Marth, Wii Fit, and Villager are gone. And I know Fox and Little Mac are kinda getting rare. And Captain and Pit are barely out yet. But it's been really surprising how hard to find Diddy is around here. I think I'll just Amazon him now before he somehow ends up rare. I'm not crazy about ordering online, but it seems better to stay safe with these things.
 
SalvaPot, can't thank you enough man. It arrived. Daughter loved it. Could care less about the dent. She has it on her shelf and knows how hard these are to track down.

I know the rare three are at this point reduced to figments of our imagination, and the supply of fox dried up many places, but is there any word on who's gonna die next out of the wave 1 guys? I'm set for wave 2 save falcon...
 
Day 5 of "preparing order" in the books with no shipping. I can't even cancel and buy somewhere else. If I wouldn't have got in on the B2G1 bug at Best Buy I'd cancel everything but Meta Knight and go somewhere else. So frustrating being patient and watching everyone else get their shit and not you. Fucking Best Buy I swear.
 
That reminds me...I've meant to get a Samus, but I want to do it in store to try to get one without a lean.

Also, what's the cheapest way to get a Marth right now? Import?
 
bought a donkey kong for my diddy. Looks Fuckin great! Donkey kong's amiibo is amazing quality, pretty heavy and good paint job!

Honestly at this point the boat on little Mac at retail seems to have sailed already.
Diddy is definitley hit or miss based on area.
 
Ugh I was gonna leave my lil mac in his box, but the glue job was so bad on the box that the plastic surrounding the figure pretty much fell off of the cardboard backing pretty much on its own.

Meh, I know I shoulda picked up two of him, one to open and the other to use.

EDIT: it didn't completely fall off, it just completely separated from the backing on one of the corners, enough to make keeping him in the box useless.
 
Ok, is my Captain Falcon the only one that has major issues with the paint on his shin guards? It's almost like the paint pooled in certain corners and made it inconsistently darker in some places than others. It's really bugging me!

Been thinkng about this, and came to a conclusion based on nothng but my thoughts:
This is also banking on stuff like Yoshi getting a smaller amiibo/card in time for its respective games if it sells out.

Safe:
1: Mario
2: Luigi
3: Peach
4: Link
5: Zelda
6: Pikachu

Should be safe for atleast a couple months if not more: (Wave 3 means safe a couple months after of Wave 3)
1: Toon Link (Will either stop after a couple months, or will replace Link since they function the same.)
2: Yoshi
3: Mega Man
4: Captain Falcon
5: Donkey Kong
6: Diddy King
7: Rosalina (Surprise!)
8: Sonic
9: Shulk (Think GS will be good on supporting him for a little bit.)
10/11/12: Kirby, King Dedede, & Metaknight (Will stay on atleast a couple months after Kirby and the Rainbow Curse)
13: Lucario (Too popular...then again Villager so who knows.)
14: Captain Falcon

Maybe next to go. If you want should maybe get them:
1: Fox
2: Samus
3: Pit
4: Little Mac
5: Ike
6: Shiek

Its already dead:
1: Villager
2: Marth
3: Wii Fit Trainer

Also all major characters are out now aside from maybe Charizard. Only expect anything else to last a couple waves.

PS: I think counted more than what was released for first three waves, so I probably miscounted/put someone in there twice lol.
