That said, I've ordered tons of other stuff from them and before that they were reliable. I would NOT place all of your faith in them for Amiibos though.

I am kind of expecting this from any retailer, I meant more among the lines of the condition the package arrives, the costume support, etc.

Just shows up as a pending charge right now. When I first placed the order, they did the same thing. Guessing Target just routinely queries CC's to make sure the money's still available.
 
I find amazing that since Dec 12 we have had NO chances to buy Marth, Villager or Wii Fit Trainer online in any store, like, daaaaaamn, not even a restock, the few times they have appeared have been for less than 2 minutes.

Its amazing to me Rosalina was available 5 times for total time of less than 40minutes.... and thats just a damn preorder...

One of the Merch guys gave me a call earlier saying they came off the truck, and that he had one in hand with my name on it. Hopefully yours come in soon so you'll have peace of mind. :)
 
So I grabbed the last Diddy Kong in town that I could find and the last Samus at GameStop (I saw one more at the place I saw Diddy, but figured I was going to GS to see what they had & wanted the power-up rewards points). Really hoping I can trade Diddy online for Fox, so gotta wait & see if anyone's interested in the Amiibo Trading thread.

Samus, at the very least, I'll probably keep, though might buy another in case someone wants her to trade with.

So ummmm, I went to the Best Buy in Woodbridge where I pre-ordered Pit. The release date was supposed to be for yesterday but when I got there the lady said that they never received any whatsoever. When I asked her if she sold them to anyone just in case she said that none were received out of the 3 pre-ordered ones which were me and two other folks.

THIS IS NUTS
 
So I went to pick up my order yesterday at BBY for Pit but they said they got none so I called corporate to change it to shipping, which they changed, now I get a call to pick up a Pit with my name. Now am confused on what to do.

They are lying to you.

The website had shown that they had stock since December 22, but that you would not be able to reserve for store pickup. I went to the store on the 24th, and actually saw them, but was told they were street dated for January 2nd. Now the website shows no stock, and after calling the store they said they sold out.

Thankfully, I learned my lesson and have preordered everything online from Amazon.ca and Future Shop as a backup. I got my shipping notification earlier today from Amazon for Pit and Falcon and should be delivered on Friday. That's without Prime, too! :)
 
Got my Amazon.de package in today upon returning from vacation. The box was damaged and had a sticker stating it was received that way when USPS got it. The figures were fine. One Marth with a straight sword one with it to the side but it doesnt look bent. Split this order with a buddy just in case I couldnt find the holy trinity. I did find them so these might just be collectibles in box. I would recommend this method to anyone. I think it came out to $21.50 each with us splitting it.

Mine called me earlier to say they'll be in on Jan. 2.
 
Man, got excited & slightly annoyed seeing Toys R Us had Fox available to ship when they earlier he wasn't available, but I clicked and product page is the same, only in-store pick-up.

When TRU runs out of shelf space they sometimes just put the remaining stock in a cart next to the shelf. When I went there earlier this week they had a cart full to the top of Marios, Links, and Kirbys, since their entire amiibo aisle was full.
 
When does Toys R Us' Buy 1 Get 40% off deal end? I might give in & nab Peach and Zelda next week once I get more funds and make money back from buying Samus & Diddy.

Edit: & to no surprise, my GS isn't allowing Shulk pre-orders. Why is it Nintendo is always the company that has limited pre-orders?

Smashy New Year, Amiibros.

As of today, I'm current -- thanks to Best Buy pre-orders. My Pit has a little bit of a bendy bow, but I'm okay with it.
